Two boys in our neighborhood took big gobblers this past weekend .One got a 24 pounder with a Knight 12 ga muzzle loader. The other one got a 23 pounder on a bird he called in himself.

The Panthers get their first win at home over the Hornets tonight behind senior Shane Pelphrey 9 to 7. A furious 2 out -7 run attack chased CG pitcher Wayne Sparks from the mound and despite some defensive lapses the Peake got the win. Nice job Peake coming from behind and not giving up.

I didn't see Peake's Lindsey in the Ironton paper's stats. Did he play or was he one of the sick ones? I can't imagine a senior not playing unless something was wrong.

Looks to me like Peake was out-coached by not getting all the players working together. Of course RV is a tough place to get a win under the best of circumstances.
