Wheelersburg youth soccer sign ups will be on the following dates:

July 23 - 6 to 8pm
July 25 - 9-11:30am
July 28 - 6-8pm
Aug 1 - 9-11:30am

Sign ups will be held in front of the new schools on the Gleim Rd. side.

The season will begin on Aug 22 for all Scioto County teams.

Minford's spring league is mostly 3 v 3, not full field. Greenup Co. has a spring league as well. They play in Worthington, so not too much of a drive. I am working on getting a U10 team to play over there this spring.

The SOCII is very competitive and Oak Hill does not play as well on the road as they do at home.

Ward made a very nice backdoor cut to get a layup with .7 left. Very similar to his game winning layup at Minford last Tues.

Very good game by both teams. These close games are tough to watch, but lessons are being learned by the young Pirates each game and will only help make them stronger in the future!

As far as this game, I think a prediction of Burg scoring around 80 is way out of line. This year Burg is all about defense. My prediction is Burg 55-38.
