Re: Ohio High School Coaches Fall Sports Proposal
I’ve stayed out of this thread to give Tom Pavlansky, the President of the OHSFCA , and my neighbor, a shot at selling this. It’s a product of overzealous member coaches he11 bent to have a season. Frankly , there are others that believe having a season is a mistake. However, after jumping thru hoop...

Re: Honest Question
The U. S. Has less than 5% of the world population , but almost 23% of the virus deaths. And that doesn’t include those who survive with lifetime suffering with lung damage.
What could go wrong ?

Re: Rumored Proposal For Covid19 Testing Protocols For P5 Schools
More to the point, how many will turn a blind eye and cheat, as is common in NCAA athletics, all in the pursuit of winning ? Cheating is at epic levels, from major to minor violations. As proven over and over again, many coaches are without ethics. And in this case with lives at stake, a lifetime ba...

Re: Will All College and University Athletic Programs Survive COVID-19?
Closer to home, eyes should be on the MAC. For those who don’t know, Univ. Of Akron is in serious financial difficulty, cutting not only sports and coaches but also faculty and staff. Most MAC schools depend on 2 sources of revenue - state aid from tax revenue and charging the students several thous...

Re: 2020 Football Season
On the other hand, the news out of Pennsylvania is the PSAC, a premier D-II college league, is cancelling FB. The PSAC has a large number of teams in both small towns and big cities. Also announced, another D-I FCS league, the MEAC, joins the Ivy and Patriot Leagues in cancellation of FB. Expectatio...

Re: 2020 Football Season
Saw the ACC media cancellation. There was another article that did not sound promising for the ACC. Trouble is, most see the hand writing on the wall but don’t have the balls to announce it. They will let it go on a little longer, but the season is in doubt and they know it.

Re: 2020 Football Season
Appears the ACC May become the first of major FBS college teams to cancel the season. This follows on numerous cancellations in D-III, D-II and Ivy and Patriot Leagues in FCS. State by state, public schools are not going to reopen and with it, cancellation of FB. Despite current activity, I would no...

Re: 2020 Football Season
This needs said - sports will continue even if a season is missed because of a pandemic. Woe is us, the sky is falling. Life goes on and so will sports if a season is missed.

Re: 2020 Football Season
Please don’t confuse me with the incompetent, corrupt, lying, narcissistic, vindictive sociopath in the WH. I’m just an ex Head Football coach who would like to see another football season but smart enough not to be a fool expecting one to happen. For those who expect to have another normal year of ...

Re: 2020 Football Season
No one added anything. The fact is “herd immunity “ is BS. Those screaming for football have nothing to fall back on. Be my guest - no masks, no social distancing, herd immunity, etc. Now, most of us, the vast majority, will follow, science, doctors, immunologists, medical researchers and epidemiolog...

Re: 2020 Football Season
BTW, I reported this on other threads - Richard Rose, 37, of Port Clinton , Ohio died from the virus. He made fun of the hoax virus and promoted Trump 2020 on his Facebook page. On July 1, he felt sick. On July 4, the virus killed him. He sounded very much like the clueless promoting the idea of pla...

Re: 2020 Football Season
Here’s your problem , eagles73, the key word I used is MAY. No one knows because we don’t have but 4 months of history with this virus. Not even the scientists know for sure because of the short research time. You used the word COULD and once again, they DONT know. But never get in the way of a bull...

Re: 2020 Football Season
BTW, the Rump bull$h!tters just got their arses handed to them. Two studies, Kings College in London and a Spanish study shows “herd immunity “ is BS. Their findings show you lose immunities built up with antibodies starting 3 weeks after you recover from the virus and lose most of your immunity aft...
