I am pretty sure that OHSAA rules give you 10 days of instruction time no matter who is coaching them. So, if Coach Thompson, along with whomever coached the team at the Elite Center, during the Summer League, etc. had more than 10 instructional days with them, they would be in violation of the rule...

Jordan Hill coached at River Valley. He is the cousin of Jeremy Hill, who is currently coaching at Eastern. I can assure you that neither have any interest in the job at River Valley.

Who would Eastern get to replace Hill? Not saying he is not replaceable...everyone can be replaced...but does anyone have a replacement in mind? Has anyone spoke to Hill about their displeasure? Perhaps he would resign if he was aware of any "reasonable" actions that warranted such actions.
