Re: West (6-2) vs Wheeling Central Catholic (7-0)

Wheeling Central Catholic is Class A in WV and could compete with many AAA and most AA teams in the Mountain State. Think Portsmouth Notre Dame in the early 1970's. The Senators playoff chances would be enhanced with a win so I am sure they will give the Knights their best effort. Here is some inter...

Mr. Parker will not get a recruiting call from Ohio State as the erstwhile Trojan plays for an Ohio High School. (sarcasm)

Re: Valenth's AP Poll top 10 prediction for Week 8

No way Nd jumps osu would be BS i think lsu and maybe even michigan will be over texas (usually wrong) lol The Domers would not jump, but OSU might fall. At this point in the season, OSU is only at best the fourth best team in the BIG 10(14) based on actual performance, not potential. Honestly Mich...

Re: Bosa to not return and focus on rehab and NFL draft

Honestly this is the best decision that Mr. Bosa could have made. The risk of reinjury by returning for the rest of what appears will turn out to be a meaningless OSU season is too great. His time will be spent making full recovery and prepping for the NFL draft. I am sure Bosa considered team loyal...

Re: WEEK 9 Waverly (7-1) at Minford (6-2)

West handled Minford and Waverly handled West - does that make a difference in this one? Will Minford still have several players out for this one? Will they get any original starters back? Transitive score analysis can only give you clues. Both schools have a lot to gain with a victory but Minford ...

Re: CFB AP Poll Week 8

Once again that SEC love fest is running rampant. Georgia Dropping only to 8th when they lost by 20 points to LSU... But they are at will to drop Penn State 10 spots only losing by a TD.. Good news for Ohio State is... If they win out. Now that Sparty is ranked it strengthens their schedule Well th...

Re: WEEK 8 THEE OHIO STATE BUCKEYES @ THE PURDUE BOILERMAKERS. YOUR THOUGHTS HERE PLEASE.

As alluded to in previous posts, something is not well in old Columbus towne. Did the Meyer situation in August and September cause harm to team chemistry? Instead of an angry football team ready to demolish opponents to uphold Urban's honor, I see both coaches and players simply disinterested and o...

Burreaux generates wins over quality opponents for his team rather than stats for himself. Joe chose wisely.

Unless Ohio State makes a miraculous mental turn around, we will not be talking about the Bucks making the CFP, but whether or not they can finish third in their division.

Re: Valenth's AP Poll top 10 prediction for Week 8

I would go with

1.) Alabama
2.) Clemson
3.) Notre Dame
4.) Ohio State
5.) LSU
6.) Michigan
7.) Texas
8.) Oklahoma
9.) Georgia
10.) Florida

As poorly as OSU played, they stay in the top four based on potential alone.

Aiken lost to Lucas tonight and Taft jumped Waverly. Waverly is at 6 now.
Waverly just needs to concentrate on the next two games instead of seeding.

Don't look now, but Michigan is up 24-7 on Wisky. "The Game" now takes on greater importance.

Michigan 38-7 over the Badgers late fourth quarter. Are the Wolverines now the favorite to win the BIG 10(14)?

Mich State beat Penn State - seriously?
The game was an old fashioned slobberknocker. With Penn State going down at home, does OSU truly have a quality win? Michigan may be the class of the Big Ten East.

Number 6 WVU and Iowa State 7-7 early.

Number 1 Bama 10-0 over Mizzou early.

Wisky and Mich have kicked.

Re: Crazy College Football Scenarios...

After this weekend, only Bama looks like world beaters although they have not played anyone. You could throw teams 2-20 into a hat and draw for the rankings, which is good for college football.

Re: Hillsboro at Jackson

From afar, I would say that both Hillsboro and Jackson are good teams. The outcome shows that the league has competitive balance. Hopefully the FAC can hold together to allow these schools to develop rivalries that will allow the conference to flourish.
