Re: 2018 REDS !

7 game win streak and won 10 of their last 12, including a 4 game sweep over the Cubs. They are playing much better now. Which begs the question will the Reds' management unload some of their better performing talent for prospects as the trade deadline approaches? Got to keep the payroll as low as ...

Re: If you were coach??

I call BS. Most coaches who win over a prolonged time have superior talent vs the teams they play. Not because of some great coaching ability. Serious judgement should be withheld until these are known - 1. How many 4th downs a game do they have ? 2 How many yards needed - long or short ? 3. Locati...

Re: Surprise team in 2018

What is shameful is that Ironton has gone from an "expected to be good" team to a "surprise if they are good" team. I hope the Pendleton era gets off to a good start. I am not expecting perfection overnite but incremental improvements would be much welcome. Attitude is the key. he's not gonna be an...

Re: Redshirts can play, transfers can roam under new NCAA policy

I am conflicted on these rule changes. D1 football is gravitating away from being a college game to that of becoming more like the NFL. Yet college athletes deserve the opportunity to play along with not having to be a slave to their original scholarship team.

What say you ??

The Mohawks have suffered almost 60 years of futility. There have been a handful of winning seasons, but it seems the school administration and community really do not care about losing on the gridiron. Northwest has good academics and is somewhat competitive in other sports, why is it that football...

Big10(14) well represented with OSU, Michigan, Wisconsin, Penn State, and Sparty.

From Athlon Sports:

Realistically no polls should be published before week six of the season.

Once again the most and biggest holes will be on defense. They lost almost the whole linebacker core and both DE. The O-line and WRs should be good once again, questions on O will be the QB and RB. Joey would be a waist of talent at OU in my opinion, nothing against OU or the MAC but he can play and deserves to play in a power 5 conference. We may assume that Burrow is an automatic starter at any school he chooses yet Joe's body of work at State is rather pedestrian: https://www.foxsports.com...

Best decision for both parties. This helps the squad prep for the 2018 season without a quarterback controversy, and gives Burrow a realistic opportunity to start somewhere . Other positives is that Joe has a degree from OSU and that Haskins will have full opportunity to develop as a quarterback. I ...

Neither is going to happen in the near future because as other posters in the thread have pointed out there re...
