The number I saw placed Fairland as the second smallest OVC school

If I looked at the numbers correctly, Fairland is now the second smallest in the OVC?

It’s amazing what a 6-5 record and 3 game losing streak will do for your program!

I think the posts that have disappeared had comments that were less than positive.

Simple fact - he quit......quit on the kids, the community and the administration who gave him his first head coaching opportunity. I heard he said Coal Grove was his dream job. Let's hope for Boyd County's sake the dream lasts longer than 2 years. Great way to start building your resume Coach!

Some people I’ve talked to said he was in the 2nd year of his 2 year contract and administration came to him about the lackluster season this year. Sounds like he wasn’t getting the support that you need to build a program. Not true! To my knowledge all CG coaches are on 1 year contracts. Regardles...

Not true! To my knowledge all CG coaches are on 1 year contracts.

The officiating was poor, both ways I believe. The OVC assigns officials, so accusing Ironton of cheating is a moot point. Remember, those who live in glass houses should not throw stones. Just ask Fairland what they think about the clock “mysteriously “ malfunctioning during the game at Coal Grove...
