Re: Logan is at a crossroad

It is quite possible that they traveled by train. I'll have to look into that. noreply-Those six teams you listed would be a great start to a league. I think the fact that this is out in the open is a good sign that it will at least be seriously discussed. In conversations I've had with the Grovepor...

Re: Logan is at a crossroad

I like that league 87'! Lots of natural rivalries there. Groveport-Hammy and Groveport-Canal are big rivalries already. I think you could also go after Licking Heights and Watkins Memorial. Size wise, they are both good fits. Like I said, I think Lancaster and Reynoldsburg are just too big for this ...

Re: Logan is at a crossroad

Could be a great league if done right. Personally, I would leave Lancaster and Reynoldsburg out for the simple reason that they are just too big IMO. They are in the high 600-low 700 enrollment for boys and the rest of the schools are 300-500. Plus, I don't think either one would leave the OCC anywa...

Re: "Hypothetical" new D1/D2 league south of Columbus

Seems that the word is out now, per the LDN, that Logan is trying to form a new D1/D2 league of area schools. I personally think it is a great idea and hope that it can get past the meeting stages. What say you? and let's keep the conversation civil.

Re: "Hypothetical" new D1/D2 league south of Columbus

This isn't as far fetched an idea as you might think. I've heard that Logan has reached out to as many as 15 schools to possibly form a new league. I know this because Groveport was one of the schools contacted. Now of course schools would have to leave their own leagues, which would be more painful...

Re: Conference for Logan

Heard that Logan is looking to start a new league? Anybody have any details on this? I cannot confirm nor deny that Logan may or may not have reached out to as many 15 schools with the idea of possibly forming a new, we'll call it "US33 corridor league". I don't know what the name is or w...
