Re: Trimble and FH TVC Hocking Title (Predictions)
This will all sort out. I’m sure there is or already has been an investigation into FedHock’s transfer. Trimble will continue to play formidable opponents in the tourney and still have a huge target on its back. They are highly ranked and have lost one game this season. However, I’m still not convi...

Re: Trimble and FH TVC Hocking Title (Predictions)
The girls clinched a share and there boys will win the league outright tonight. It's not a question, but a question of by how many. Go Cats! How does that crow taste? I hope it’s as good as mine because I basically said Parkersburg South was better than Dover and South had it handed to them tonight...

Re: Newly Formed Twin State League
I would like to see Parkersburg South, Ripley (WV), Logan, and Meadowbrook all consider moving. Those are all very good athletic schools with excellent traveling fan bases and top notch facilities. Fort Frye will greatly benefit. They will be the smallest school in a large school league. Watch out c...

Newly Formed Twin State League
Charter members are Warren, Marietta, Point Pleasant (WV), and Marietta. I’m curious who else they are going to pick up. Gonna be a top heavy basketball conference with Fort Frye (most years) and Warren. Thoughts on the new league? Local schools combine to form Twin State League http://www.newsandse...

Warren playing solid ball right now. If they cut down the turnovers, they will be breaking some hearts in the postseason.

Re: Official TVC Boys Basketball Thread
I truly believe Federal Hocking has a good chance to make some noise come tournament time. Solid players, good play makers, good shooting, athletic, and seems like good coaching. We'll see how they handle getting beaten soundly pretty soon. If they can bounce back from that then they might have a c...

Re: Division II SE District Thread
It’s shaping up to be a dog fight in D2. Waverly is gonna be as battled tested as anyone. Sheridan, FU, McClain, Washington, and Logan Elm all play in very good leagues. Warren is starting to develop some guard play to go along with their outstanding bigs. Vinton always comes prepared with Combs at ...

Re: WV AAAA #3 Parkersburg South @ Warren (1/29)
Dover will win by 10. The more disciplined Ohio team will win. South is good, but not Dover good. Dover will need to play with discipline @ Parkersburg South. It’s a very difficult environment to play at. The crowd is totally engaged, it’s loud, and the student section is right on the court and con...

Re: Shoutout to Wheelersburg
That’s great! Wheelersburg is a great sports town….good to hear that they are thankful, polite, and respectful. On a side note, I’ve always wondered why there was a parking fee at Jackson? I’m sure you’ve answered this question many times but in all seriousness, I’m curious. $1.50 goes to the athle...

Re: WV AAAA #3 Parkersburg South @ Warren (1/29)
Sounds like a hotly contested game. South just started the tough stretch of their schedule tonight (had an away game last night as well). The remaining tough opponents are @ Morgantown Dover, and Linsly x2 . Warren is well coached and is very tough at home. Great job Warriors to compete! Keep up the...

Re: WV AAAA #3 Parkersburg South @ Warren (1/29)
Doubt South is better than New Philadelphia or Dover. I haven’t seen New Philly play. Ive heard they were good. I’ve watched Dover. They have one really good guard and a few good big guys from what I remember. Personally, I wasn’t overly impressed. I’ve watched Parkersburg South three times this ye...

WV AAAA #3 Parkersburg South @ Warren (1/29)
Parkersburg South is probably the best team Warren is going to face this season. They just came off a 112 point scoring performance. They have excellent guard play. Averaging nearly 83 ppg. Post players are solid as well. Overall, a very deep team. The only loss is against a solid Dublin Coffman tea...

Re: 1/26 Wednesday Games
Warren played well last night against Jackson. As usual, Maddox and staff are doing a great job putting kids in the position to best suit the team. Sallee and Taylor are their bell-cows. If they can keep the games in the 50s-low 60s, Warren has a chance to win. Good move by Maddox to start Freshman ...
