A lot of new faces---will have to play together-some kids from Jackson--might not like the idea of all the new team mates.

You gotta play together---Jackson will have their ups and downs this year. Should have a good record-- but once the year ends--what will they do? Time will tell.

I was told they only have 8 on the varsity roster??? If that is true --it WILL be a long year--the league is down this year--I don't see VC in the top 3. But in a year or so(if we keep our talent) we will be back.

I was told by someone at the scrimmage, that Vc could not handle the Oaks--was unable to stop them. If they can't play defense might be a long year.

It will be a long year in Vinton County. they might go 11 and 11. They are a year or 2 away. That's what happens when you don't prepare your underclassman to be able to play.

Between Alex and Athens--- but give the nod to Athens- better talent---Alex will never be stable with their coach--I see him lose 2 or 3 games --just from bad coaching.... Even at the convo he cost them the game. He needs to use his big boy-- if he does not---very long year.

The bad news for VC they will have no size--good news if they did have size they would not use it. I see maybe 11-11 record. But next year they will be back at the top of the TVC.

I don't think Alex will go to far--they have the talent---I think they need to move on and get a new coach.

No in Athens over the weekend--his brother got locked up and he was with him.

Athens--then Alex--then Vc. Vc lost 7 or 8 seniors from last year. Don't have much left--will take vc a yr or so top get back on top.

Is all the ironman football players available? Heard one got in a fight last week?

Sorry--Mr. Jake Speakman should had at least a share of POY-- he was the glue to the team. I was told by someone at the sports banquet last night at Vinton Co, that it was said Naylan set school record most threes--just wonder how many did he take? and what was his% rate for makes, had to be under 2...

I guess we made it to the convo--that's all that matters!!!! Not that we should have a better game plan against Fairland--I was told that FU Coach had his team prepared and ready--they came out on fire---but I was told(I did not go to the game) they played to not lose the 2nd half.

The coach sets the tone---if he just ignores bad behavior from a few--but pulls other kids out for the same thing--so there is a time a place for everyone---every kid practices--should be VALUED the same!!! So how did the dribble drive work vs. Bloom Carol, first Nelsonville game, first River Valley game, Maysville, and 2nd Athens game???? That's what I am talking about--you truly believe they were all better than us? Just don't see it. Hands down had more talent--just was not coached well in those gam...
