Re: Boys D4 District outlook/breakdown
St. Joe was seeded behind (in order) 1. Trimble 2. Symmes Valley 3. Eastern 4. South Webster 5. Waterford 6. Green 7. Miller I don't believe St. Joe defeated any of these teams. I'm not justifying the seed SJ received but I don't agree with your logic on why they should be higher. Clay and ND are in...

Re: Division 4 Sectional at Meigs
PT, any chance Nils Grbnik is going to be eligible before tourney time? I bet he could be a huge help to SJ if they can get his paperwork issues resolved.

Re: SOC 1 Player of the Year.
It's voted on by the coaches in SOC 1. Most often it ends up being the best player on the top team. If this year's SOC 1 race ends up as a 4 way tie it could be an interesting vote.

I am not a Language Arts teacher who specializes in grammar but WOW!!!! Can I offer you some suggestions? I heard sometime back that TG was going to South Point and that some of the boosters where asking about a outside candidate for the job. Only time will tell.[/quote} A outside coach would be gre...

Re: Eastern( Reedsville ) @ Ironton St. Joe
The reason I take it personally is because you are probably a person who speaks to me and acts friendly to my face yet goes on a site such as this and takes shots at me and my family. I never brought religion into it. My point was that I am a St. Joe person and you clearly have kids there as well. I...

Re: Week 10: (8-1) Raceland KY @ (6-2) Ironton Postby highflyer » October 30th, 2014, 8:14 am TRH is right. Ironton has more to gain than Raceland in this game. Raceland COULD beat Ironton if they went all out and used their "trick" plays. However, they have already secured their playoff ...

Highflyer, I see that you're back but noticed you haven't replied to my pm. I just have to know, why would a fellow St. Joe guy bash other St. Joe guys like you did on the football forum?highflyer wrote:Not sure, but I believe we are the smallest school in the state that participates in team sports.

Re: Week #9 Sciotoville (3-5) @ Green (1-6)
A thread that is supposed to be about East vs Green and it ends up with posts about former players, former coaches, Rose Street Park and pee week football coaches. I remember when this site used to be entertaining because people actually exchanged ideas and opinions about the games.

Yard lines shouldn't be obstructed. They should have the "shadow lines" built into the design.

I'd say the black lines represent the restricted area around the field where no one should be allowed to stand.tigercannon71 wrote:Whats up with they black lines running around the outside? Where they thinking of putting soccer lines on the field?

Good Luck to the St Joe Flyers Monday Night at the CONVO!!!!!!! I have to say it is a joy to see them make it there and to know Lafon is not!!!!!!! I hate to see posts like this. I am thrilled for the kids at SJ that they are going to play at the Convo but don't like seeing people pit SJ/Ironton ag...

Re: (3-1) Raceland @ (0-3) Coal Grove
I can confirm with 100% certainty that #1 for Raceland was not ejected. A different player was ejected who I will not single out. That player was not ejected because of a single act that happened on the onside kick. It was due to the fact that the player had accumulated 2 unsportsmanlike conduct pen...

Re: What rules would you add or change?
What do you do with fields that basically have no sideline? Many times playing in the old Mid Buckeye conference we had to put our players on the ropes just to have room for coaches and players entering and leaving the game to have room. You do the best you can. I have seen teams that line the play...

Re: What rules would you add or change?
Go back to the old coaching box and allow coaches near the field. You now have sideline Nazi's more worried about where coaches are on the sideline than what is happening on the field. The "sideline nazis" are enforcing the rule which is put in place for safety reasons. Keeping coaches fu...

Fairland won 4-1. They will now play SP at 4pm at Wheelersburg. If Fairland wins the first game, the teams will play another game right after the first game.

Re: 11/12 boys Burg v. Rock Hill game
Why did it take so long to find out about the players who were ineligible? Everyone had to turn in their player information at the meeting before the tournament started, but I heard burg did not show up. Now every team that was beaten by burg has a legitimate argument. Why don't they have to forfei...

Re: 11/12 boys Burg v. Rock Hill game
Every league has players that play "out of boundary". Little League has made allowances for kids to play out of boundary with certain paperwork completed. I wouldn't consider these issues to be as "dirty" as some want to make it sound. It's usually more of an issue of paperwork t...
