Re: SEOPS Players of the Week

These are all great nominations but did you see or have you seen the RB from Lucas? Jeb Grover had 33 carries, 319 yds rushing (9.7 yds/carry), 4 TD's, and 65 yds receiving against Troy Christian last week. Plus he's their MLB on defense. And you want to talk about loading the box against him; Lucas...

Re: Who wins Region 27?

Power rankings after four weeks, anyone? 1. Lucas 2. Trimble 3. Harvest 4. Waterford t5. Fisher t5. Danville 7. Southern 8. Caldwell ??? I believe you nailed #1 and #2. They met last year in round one and it was one point game. I think they met again with a final four berth on the line. Looking at ...

FANOSPORTS wrote: Mon Sep 17, 2018 3:12 pm Danville is truly a top 4 team right now IMO but they've played a tough schedule and the record is deceiving. It happens sometimes.
Would be nice to see them beat Northmor.

Re: Who wins Region 27?

You may have Lucas at the top of your rankings and they are good (and have a tough schedule) but don't sleep on Trimble. We really don't know what they have yet. Been a pretty easy road for Trimble thus far. Can't wait to see the match-ups this week between Harvest Prep (#1) vs. Bishop Rosecrans (#9...

Re: Who wins Region 27?

Things will start to clear up soon due to common opponents. Trimble and Waterford are in the same conf. HP, FC, and Rosecrans are in the same conf. FC plays Crestline this week; Lucas plays Crestline on 9/28 This will shine a little more light on our discussions. True. Waterford will have their sho...

Re: Who wins Region 27?

That's funny about Green, i see that too. Weird. This is a big points week for Waterford, Fort Frye is carrying a pretty good amount of pts and will continue to build on that throughout the season. Will be a tough yet valuable week for Waterford. Fort Frye won in a close game last season. Danville's...

Re: Who wins Region 27?

I agree, too early to tell. I'm not ready to jump on Fisher Catholic as a top tier team yet. I know its a catholic school and things happen but going 0-10 last yr to becoming a dominate force? I'd think it'd take more than 1 off-season, but we really won't know until week 9 and 10, (Harvest Prep &a...

Re: Wk1 8/25 (Sat) Trimble at Nelsonville-York

Officiating was decent enough and it didn't decide the game. The game was definitely decided on the field. Bottom line, Trimble out played NY. The power run game wore on NY and it showed in the 2nd half. Plus NY did nothing to help themselves on offense. NY had a nice drive right before half but tha...

Re: Who wins Region 27?

After week one there's always a lot of questions remaining. I was at the Trimble game and they look TOUGH but NY didn't impress me, they look unorganized and blew a lot of opportunities. Waterford got a little revenge on Sciotoville East, beating them badly but I wonder how good East will be this yr...

Re: Who wins Region 27?

I see Trimble and Waterford playing in regional final this year. It would be a blood bath. Definitely could see this happen because with high school kids, you just never know. I don't know a whole lot about Waterford, can you give me a quick breakdown? I know they got upset in the playoffs last sea...

Re: 2018 Waterford Wildcats Football Outlook

I'm starting to learn more about Waterford and I have a question. So, you're predicting 9-1, losing to Fort. What about Trimble? they're projected to be even better this yr and they beat Waterford last yr. Who's the difference maker this yr that will make Waterford win?

Re: Who wins Region 27?

Looking at the top teams from last yr. Danville will be down, lost a lot to graduation, plus tough schedule, good chance to not host rd1, should finish 5th-10th in region. If they win some close games they might slip into 4th. Waterford should be tough, looking at them hosting in 1st Rd, probably 3...
