Wellston and Rock Hill varsity each scored a touchdown. Good scrimmage for both teams. I liked the diversity and tempo for Wellston. JV teams showed talent. Some penalties and turnovers on both sides, to be expected at this point.

The food is good at NY and Meigs

Left handed hasn’t been to Wellston in a while because it is paved around the field but the parking lot needs work.

Where is Vinton County?

August 14th at Rock Hill, Jamboree game at Home against Oak Hill on August 23rd. They had a 7 on 7 yesterday at South Gallia with the Rebels and Fairland.

I like Wellston playing Portsmouth. I think Southeastern and Pike Eastern would be good on our schedule. Piketon and Oak Hill are nice additions. Gallia Academy might be a good choice.

I don’t believe in guaranteed wins or losses. Definitely be underdogs in some games and favored in others. I think there will be several toss-up games. If the Rockets win those they will have a good season. Rockets will be fun to watch. I’m looking forward to a good year.

Wellston lost to a good Logan Elm team 33/26 and defeated Pike
Eastern 47-38. Eastern is much improved from when they started in Sunmer League.

Wellston beat Minford and Zane Trace each by 20, lost to Jackson by 10 in a good game.

The most unprofessional ref crew that I have ever seen. The white hat was more concerned with the band than the game and then he taunted the Wellston fans and laughed. Congrats to Meigs on the win. Too bad the refs were a side show.

Rockets won last year by 2. Should be another barn burner.

It is always hard to play at VC. It could be a close game.
