In regards to traveling out of state, if they go on a school bus, it is limited to 1,000 miles from the time you cross the state line until you return to Ohio. That is round trip. We went to a basketball tournament over Christmas break in North Carolina and took a school bus.

Yes, he teaches biology at the High School. He also had power lifting coaching duties.

Coal Grove returns most of their lineup. The pitcher, 2nd base, Short Stop and 3rd base all graduated. They have a few freshmen who will probably see some playing time. Plus they are building a new field for the girls!! It is currently under construction and will hopefully be ready for the season.

I don't see consolidation anytime soon in Lawrence county. Coal Groves high school is about 22 years old. The elementary school building is about 11 years old. I think South Point has shown some improvement from last season. The offensive scheme suits the talent they have, they could move the ball at times. If they give their coach a chance, I believe they can be competitive again.
