Re: Possible Coaching Jobs opening up??
Any word from Portsmouth coaching?? They will have their first winning season since 2009?? Why would anyone think they would get canned? Position jobs opening up?? Winning season or not, coaches can still leave. He lives! Wow, thought you went MIA. Glad the playoff game didn't scare you off for goo...

Re: Wheelersbburg big man ?
This should be interesting on how the OHSAA rules on this matter. From BURG to VALLEY to IRONTON? Now what is the reason for all the transferring in such a short period of time? Usually means they are looking for a competitive team that will do well. I don't think he wants to transfer into a place ...

Re: Region 19 #4 Nelsonville-York (9-2) @ #1 Wheelersburg (11-0)
I've been saying this will be a close game, but the more I think the more I start to believe Burg will start to pull away in the 3rd quarter. I'll change my pick to Burg by at least 17.

Uhhh no kidding? Isn't that what your previous post was about?Volunteer wrote:Won't be official until 3
Like i've said before. Burg will open up the game with a quick touchdown and Nelsonville-York will settle down and it'll be a good game, in my opinion of course.

I think Burg has things figured out after tonight's victory, but NY could keep this game close. Burg comes out quick and puts up a quick score and it settles down from there.

Congrats on the big win by Burg, I stayed for the first half and made my way down the road to Sciotoville.
I'll be at (hopefully Jackson) for next weeks game. Defense was super solid and the offense came out firing.

Sorry about the name mix-up. I meant to say Larry Hall... So how long was Larry there? Couldn't have been more than 2 years. Northwest goes through coaches like the changing of the wind.

Re: Oak Hill 60 Green 6
Not sure if you are being serious or not. I'll treat it as if so... Do you think they just woke up one morning and had to hire a new coach? Montavon is the new coach this year. Last year was a 1 year guy Andy Hall... The list keeps going on and on. Wow. Are you serious? You are out in left field lo...

Re: WK10 Oak Hill (4-5) @ Green (3-6)
No, Oak Hill has 150 boys in the high school, while Green probably has half as many. It's still not as large a disparity as Northwest and Green. Northwest, based on last years numbers since this years aren't official, only has 5 more boys than oak hill and 7 more than burg. This years numbers will ...

Re: Minford vs Valley
Congrats to Valley. I have never seen, as a whole, a coaching staff with no emotion and enthusiasm on the sidelines like I've seen tonight for Minford. We have 2 coaches that seem passionate and energetic. Matiz is one of them, I believe Frazie (?) Is the other. Nonchalant. That's the best word to ...

Gotta admit that was funny, 80 yard field would have been Minford's best friend this year.BondRoad Bandit wrote:Lol okBiddyBallDaddy wrote:Minford also had an 80 yard field once... just saying.

Re: BIGGEST SUPRISE TEAM THIS YEAR IN SEOP LAND.
Portsmouth has averaged 3-7 records and drop one to Ironton tonight, making them 6-4. Hardly biggest surprise to me. They went 7-3 in 2009...Maybe if they go 7-3, 8-2 would I then start saying biggest surprise. In the end they are done for the year. I was surprised by the turn out of tonight's game....
