Re: New Playoff System

This is why South Gallia is going to the SOC. So ready to get started where we have always belonged. Can't wait to put a whooping on all those Portsmouth schools. Done after everything the TVC did to SG. They will miss us when we're gone! You might wanna get that bump on your head checked. SG isn't...

Re: Gallia Academy @ Meadowbrook

The coaching staff can correct it by sitting them On the bench. I don’t remember seeing anyone come out of the game after getting a personal foul. If you let them get away with it they’ll keep doing it The attitude and team play that this team put out is day and night from last 2 years! Sad thing i...

Re: Would Ironton be a better fit in the SOC?

Fairland boys basketball has only lost 1 game in the last 4 years, including last season in a very competitive OVC, while dominating the prior 3 years. No one has mentioned Fairland moving to another conference because of their basketball success (in a span of 4 years). Why is anyone thinking Iront...

Re: WK 11: Gallia Academy (9-1) @ Waverly (8-2)

The problem with Gallia academy this year is the pieces don't fit together. If the pieces don't fit together, your not ever going to look dynamic or complete. For starters yes gallia academy has athletes i agree. But let's look at running back who do you have that you can really hand the ball to 20...

Re: WK 11: Gallia Academy (9-1) @ Waverly (8-2)

I am trying to say this lack of innovation is us working with what we have to work with. The problem is we have a lot of pieces to the puzzle but we can’t complete it because we are missing pieces. We have a Line with a certain set of skills that don’t Mach those of our QB. We have weapons whose sk...

A lot of wasted talent due to the OC not willing to make any adjusts to his plan. Hope by next season he will scrap the 4 plays he got off Tecmo.

Re: WK 11: Gallia Academy (9-1) @ Waverly (8-2)

Waverly had a great game plan and executed it well, I don't feel like Gallia played a good game. The playcalling was suspect and they commited a ton of penalties. I get it though, they were in a bad spot a few years back and had a couple losing seasons in a row so it's a nice building block for the...

Re: WK 11: Gallia Academy (9-1) @ Waverly (8-2)

I'll take Waverly in this one. IMO the OVC is pretty weak besides Ironton. Playing a strong schedule really pays off come playoff time not saying it pays off all the time but a tough schedule better prepares a team for the playoffs and being in the OVC isn't helping. Also not saying the OVC is alwa...

Re: WK 11: Gallia Academy (9-1) @ Waverly (8-2)

I saw Armstrong over the weekend, he didn't seem to think the coaches were going to let him play. Said he wants to and thinks he can, but the coaches aren't going to put him at risk to get hurt worse. Pretty big deal when coaches put a kids health above putting your team in the best position to win...

For the record, who cares who either team has played or hasn't played. The two teams are gonna line up on Friday night and the better team will win, it's really that simple!
