I know that Glenville being in D4 raises some questions about how its even possible, however thats where OHSAA has them. I youtubed their game with a very good D2 Avon and saw a big, fast, very athletic Glenville team. If they don't cruise to the state title the coaching staff should go into hiding.

I agree that this is a tough draw for the U but 42-13, you're not giving them a chance at all. Unioto has some pretty good athletes and I think that can offset the size advantage CM has on the LOS. I believe this will be a close game and can go either way with no more than 8 pt. separation.

Easy 1st rd game for ZT, running clock for sure. 2nd rd. they will host Madeira and that will be a very close game.

More good news for Eastern, it appears they will be playing Cincy Country Day or Williamsburg. Neither team seems to be very strong so who knows what might happen next Friday, a decent chance for a mild upset.

Defense is steadily getting a little better each week, which is the only way we have a chance against the U and ZT. Our D vs. WJ and WCH was just bad, now that it appears to be getting sorted out I think we have a good shot now.

2 things must happen for PV to beat U and ZT, the defense has to get at least a little bit better in the next 2 games. And no significant injuries leading up to week 8, we have the least depth of the 3 contenders.

Cole broke his foot in our first scrimmage, hate that for him. Senior season and he was going to be our deep WR threat and lockdown corner on D.

WJ did graduate a lot of seniors ( 24 I think ) but I watched them scrimmage at Chilly last week and they have reloaded fairly well. As good as last season? No, but the QB can sling it and at least 2 very good WR's. They are still a major player in R23.

40-6 Hillsboro over PV, 20-6 with the starters in. PV has a lot to figure out, if they don't it could be a rough season.
