Things are going very well. Coach Jarrett has been meeting with and interviewing prospective assistants. He has been to Waverly several times and will be settling in soon. One particular assistant is going to be a HUGE asset! He has also been meeting with coaches from all sports which is refreshing...

You are correct. The 6th grade group is good, but that is a long way off. I can’t see a coach with a name coming to deal with this parent group. It’s not worth it. A bit of a risk, yes. But the payoff could be a career maker. A coach with the gravitas to be a legitimate face of a program could get ...

That would be ideal. I think he has the right energy and personality for the job. His family and personal background as a player also helps.

First, Waverly is more in my area so I’m a little more interested in their sports. I’m sure Coach Robertson is interested in the job because they have talent coming up through the ranks. I agree with the 12-14 win range. I think a lot will depend on team chemistry. Hurt has a the potential to lead this team in scoring this year making the jump from JV.
