Is there anyone on this site tracking the records in the East district?

That Fairland vs. River girls game will be two 8-0 teams if I'm following the schedules right.
Also, Union Local vs. Parkersburg girls and I want to see this Bede Lori kid from Caldwell.

Saw some of Union Local's highlights on tv. Dang they look tough again. One headed to Ohio U., the other West Liberty. Coach Tolzda gets his teams at whatever school he's at to push the ball. Think he started at Beallsville and had a regional boys team there, then River, Monroe Central, Meadowbrook ...

Fairland is winning and winning by margins I didn't think possible with that OHSAA mercy rule.
Are the teams on their schedule that bad? I mean, they are pounding opponents.

unfortunately the River region D7 and surrounding area still remains weak, teams need to take a lead from Lucas up north and play stronger teams during the regualr season. Thats why Fort Frye finally got over the hump this year, unfortunately they got passed down Kirtland and Maria Stein from D7 , ...

I'm for deleting a thread if it hadn't been commented on in years. i'm for that... or at the very least put threads 2 years or older in a separate forum for those who like to bring up the past. You mean to tell me no Marietta opener vs. River, and no River at all on Marietta schedule? That game only made sense. Short drive too.

it's a dang shame Ironton and Fort Frye get the mileage driven screw job from the OHSAA.

what'd really make a statement is if both schools simply refused to go so the OHSAA doesn't get any money, but lesson learned for future scheduling

Probably Buckeye Trail vs. Indian Valley South in District at Marietta, and also following year in District (or was it regional at Warsaw) Both games coached by legends Terry Leggett and Charlie Huggins. Can't remember exact years (possibly early 80's) but both were sold out classics. Don't remember...

Agree Fort Frye/Barnesville game would've been perfect capper to this event.
Be lucky to see 300 people attend when Ohio State game is on. Talk about bad timing.
Don't believe Crooksville and River are that bad, but St. John's Academy girls team isn't very good. Lost earlier this season by 90.
