Re: Beekeeping

Im thinking about also starting in the bee business. Is getting a queen bee hard to get and start a bee colony. You can order package bees in the spring (2 or 3 lbs of bees and a queen) from what I’ve seen it doesn’t look that hard. Price has been what’s kept me from starting usually. But once you ...

And inverting the top 20 for the Wednesday race. See some driver up front who usually aren’t. Also Chase beat Kyle Busch in the truck race and won the bounty of $100,000 to charity. Kyle wasn’t happy. Might be a new rivalry haha

Re: Ham radio operators...

I’ve considered getting into it. Idk why. Idk anyone who does it. I just think it’d be something to have if doomsday ever happens. Plus the older I get the more I start thinking more off grid stuff sounds good (as I post this on the World Wide Web). I’m pretty sure Athens County has a club or maybe ...

Re: INDY 500 in August??

It’s weird. Usually I’d be getting up in a few hours to watch the Monaco Grand Prix, have lunch while watching the Indy 500, then finish it off watching the Coke 600. At least they are still running the 600 tomorrow

Sports related collection

Anyone on here collect sports stuff. Cards, gear, signs whatever. I kinda have a random one mostly UK or nascar stuff. Have a Brendan Gaughan autograph from Mid Ohio race. Couple UK and OSU Jerseys and chase Elliott T-shirts and hats. My worst one was UK hats. Every time I’d go to a game I’d buy a h...

Re: Almost NASCAR season

It will be interesting to see how NASCAR handles social distancing as they resume racing. I no longer care for the sport but I will watch to see how the logistics are handled. They seem to be doing okay with it. Post race celebration is kinda weird and not as many interviews, but other than that th...

Re: Drive In Theaters

At one time there was one in Jackson, I don't think that it lasted near as long as the one in Coalton though. I may be wrong on this, but it may have been called The Grove ? I don't know the name, but I think that there was one in Wheelersburg also. I remember going to the one in Jackson. I was lit...

Re: Camera

I have one of the SPYPOINT cellular cameras from Walmart. I think it’s a Link-W it was 2 or 300 bucks. I’ve had some problems with it, but every time I’ve contacted customer support and they’d give me 3 months unlimited photos which is just about right for deer season. Happened twice so I haven’t pa...

NASCAR returning May 17. Running I believe Darlington Sunday and Wednesday and Charlotte Sunday and Wednesday after that. Chicagoland and Sonoma lost there race date this year and Richmond lost a spring race. Also Ryan Newman will be back in the 6 car

Re: Beekeeping

I’ve talked about starting the last 2/3 years but never do. Some people I know have bees so I’m going go see how they do it this year and hopefully next year start. That is if the murder hornets don’t kill all the bees first

Camping

Since it’s getting warmer and the campgrounds are hopefully going to open soon, does anyone on here get out and do any camping? I just bought a new ENO Doublenest hammock I’m going to try this year. Haven’t tried hammock camping. Might go to lake hope when it opens up and probably go up to AEP/Jesse...

Re: TVC-Ohio changed kickoff time to 7PM

Not a fan of the 7pm kickoff. But I get to the field early if I go to games just to find where I want to sit so it doesn’t really bother me. I just don’t like fixing things that aren’t broke

Re: Gallia Academy to the TVC-Ohio

When Osbourne was the AD, he kept it in great shape, mowing and watering it so the grass was thick and good to play on. Not for certain, but they want a new field so bad that they probably don't keep it so it's good to play on, just to make a point. Rumor of the time was that the higher ups didn't ...

Re: When tuning in to the radio what music do you listen to?

Don’t listen to much radio. When I do it’s Big Buck 101.5 (older country). Right now I listen to a lot of Tyler Childers, Sturgill Simpson, Todd Snider. Sometimes I’ll be in a rock mood and play Boston, AC/DC, Dire Straights stuff like that. I also have satellite radio so I’ll play prime country (Al...
