Re: RADIO STATIONS
Steely, I have sworn off of disco music and preps. The former because everytime I break into the "disco duck" I get women flocking all over me. The latter because everytime I post on here I get bashed like a Bee Gee's album at Comiskey Park. But since you called me out with no concern for ...

Re: NY BUCKEYES tailgate cookoff??????
Coach Adams was in Columbus with his wife at the hospital. Coach Arno had parent teacher conferences and no sitter for his kids afterwards. These two are very classy guys and it would have been nice to have them on but it didn't work out. Sometimes things happen that you can't control.

Re: 107.7 pickem championship comes down to Eastern at Southern
I probably shouldn't respond but I've been a marine, a coach and a school principal so taking criticism is certainly nothing new for me. First off, I very much appreciate all of the great support I have gotten from numerous folks from all the different schools. I learned a long time ago that you cer...

Re: NY BUCKEYES tailgate cookoff??????
Cornhole is a pretty good idea. Hopefully a couple of people can bring some boards and set them up. Hope everyone can come out and have a good time. Would love to see you guys from Portsmouth show up, be sure to come and say hello to me if you do. Once again, the event will open up to the public at ...

Re: 107.7 pickem championship comes down to Eastern at Southern
Let it be written let it be said, I wasn't in the picks in 2005. Bish won in 2006 and we were co-champs in 2007. I won in 2008 so after the Tornados crush the Eagles we will still be tied overall.

107.7 pickem championship comes down to Eastern at Southern
Entering week 10 Mike Bishop has the lead on me by one game. All of the games had heavy favorites this week so the only game we picked different was Eastern at Southern. My only hope rests with the purple and gold so let's go TORNADOS!!!!!!!!

We will probably have some drinks available but I am hoping that since the Pit Stop is sponsoring the event that people could spring a buck for a pop from the Pit Stop.

Sorry Logan Grad, I've been advertising I got 5 fat guys from Huntington coming to judge. I thought it was important to have people who don't know anyone. It is definitely the best gig going. Why don't you show up and if something happens and one of them can't make it you can be 1st alternate.

Re: NY BUCKEYES tailgate cookoff??????
Ozzie, Just looking at your picture makes me hungry. Reminds me of The Ribber down your way. We have had tailgate teams visiting each Athens County school when they play at home and they put someone in the finals each time. At this time, I don't think I can put someone else in for fear that I may le...

Re: Lutz goes for Record (7-1) Nelsonville-York @ (6-2) Ironton
Can someone from Ironton clear this up for me? ohsaa.org lists Coach Lutz with 301 wins all time and 292 in Ohio. Is their information that old or am I missing something here? Not trying to stir anything, just really interested to know what the discrepancy is.

Re: Week 5 Trimble @ Fairland
All I can say about L.R. is that all the best lookin dudes in Trimble history have worn #85 (except Dave Dupler). The deadline for entering my pickem challenge is Friday at 3:00. I take the winner out to dinner. To enter go to www.sultanofsmack.com and then to sultan of smack forums. I need a few mo...

Re: Week 5 Nelsonville-York @ Meigs
Buckeye fans, Cody Pickett sent me a great screen saver with awsome photos of Nelsonville-York football games. I ask him to put it on my website so you can download it. Go to sultanofsmack.com and sultanofsmack forums and you will see it. It is labeled Buckeye screen saver. Also, Friday at 3:00 is t...

Re: athens county football fest
I agree with you that there is definitely room for improvement. I don't suppose my opinion means much as it is the football fans that need to be satisfied but I was glad that we at least pulled it off. It is always difficult the first time you try to do something. We will take suggestions and hopefu...

Re: athens county football fest
Concessions will be available. When this idea first started we were worried about the fairness issue and one school making money on it while others did not. I think we cleared this up by agreeing to rotate the site each year. When this was decided it was also decided that the host school should try ...
