Re: September 15, 2023 Gallia Academy - Portsmouth
Gallia is the better team and have to think that they take care of business against Portsmouth. If Portsmouth can throw the ball and keep Gallia off balance they can hang around and keep the game close but Gallia too much talent to not beat Portsmouth this week imo

Re: September 15, 2023 Fairland - Rock Hill
Fairland big: I don’t see Rock Hill being able to match up with them athletically and the Fairland Front 7 will keep them from running the football down their throats

Re: Fairlands offense
I’m confused. So Your saying Cunningham had the same kids last year and did a great job and went 7-3 and lost in the first round of the playoffs? Cunningham lost that team last year. He knew a lot of the starters were not playing for him this year if he stayed. That’s facts and everyone from procto...

Re: Fairlands offense
It is the same offense they were using under Cunningham. The difference is Cunningham was more of a 60% run and 40% pass and they would use some form of a running game. They would run an inside zone, a trap and some speed option they used to run some QB power and inside runs and now the new plays t...

Portsmouth with that new found passing game will be too much for Rock Hill.

Re: Fairland v/s Trimble
Two teams who play a vastly different style of football. Trimble coming in off the loss to VC has to feel better about what they have put on tape winning against NY and playing VC close this is a much improved Trimble team. Trimble is going to line up and challenge your toughness. How does Fairland ...

Re: WK4 Gallia Academy (3-0) - Chesapeake (3-0)
I think this will be a good test for Chesapeake as a program a 3-0 start is huge but this game will tell a lot about what they can do in the OVC. Obviously outside of Ironton Gallia has to be on the most athletic teams in the conference how does Peake match up against that Gallia speed. Big game for...

Re: WK4 Chillicothe - Harvest Prep
I would have to think Coach Bart and Knute Bonner as the AD work together on this schedule and want to make sure they challenge the kids but also put them in a position to be playing week 11

Re: Wellston @ Fairland
Game shouldn’t be close. Fairland has superior talent at just about every spot. Hunt should be counted on for 100 plus receiving yards every night. Nobody for West could match up with him and I don’t see Wellston being able to stop him. Jack Hayden has big play ability after the catch and then when ...

Re: Daddy ball, can it work?
Daddyball is way different than Dad that is the coach. When the Dad is a coach he holds the program to the same standards and allows the players to play the game. Spots are earned and standards are fair. Daddyball is the game where dad coaches and son plays key spots and plays without earning anythi...

Re: Best Players In The OVC 2024
Brycen Hunt WR- Fairland. This dude is an absolute stud. He is a great route runner and he catches the ball with his hands. He tracks the ball so well he gets up to high point the ball and he can also adjust to make the tough catch. I think if Brycen Hunt gets fairly evaluated by college coaches wil...

Re: Fairlands Cunningham stepping down as head coach
The Fairland school board was able to hire their guy that they wanted to lead their program after losing the winningest coach in school history last night by hiring Mike Jackson.

Re: 2023 Ironton Tigers
This stuff about Ironton recruiting is ridiculous. It is easy to see why kids want to go play at Ironton. Coach Pendelton has built the program the right way kids are getting opportunities to go and play at the next level. They get exposure and they are given opportunities to show that they can play...
