Kratzenburg would be a steal but would he want to coach someplace where Ironton will steal his best players? Ironton does not need to "steal" players from Rock Hill. If you are halfway decent at football why would you stick around in a mediocre program like Rock Hill when Ironton is right...

Not knocking Kaskey in any way, im sure he is a solid coach. But just to play devils advocate, How much of that success can be contributed to simply just being at Burg?

The difference between Ironton and Minford is the care for football itself. Would Minford ever hire a young coach over an older coach who is known in the area? Ironton took a chance and it paid off. I doubt Minford would ever take that chance.

Maybe they can lure Pendleton out of Ironton

Why on earth should it be played anywhere else? I cant believe there are people on here complaining about the state championship game being played beside the hall of fame lol.
