Re: Ironton selected for Ea College Football 25
exactly. all it will do is allow you to list your hometown when creating a player for Road to Glory. it was always like this with the old games. this is just another Ironton gimmick to prop themselves up on a pedestal for something insignificant. "look at me look at me" Being an actually ...

Re: Ironton selected for Ea College Football 25
To be fair, in the 2014 edition of the game you were able to put in any school. It also had Ironton, Portsmouth, Chillicothe, Athens as towns to put as your home town. Unsure of what this truly means have to wait for the game to come out and see

Re: New week 1 Rivals
I know why they quit playing but I always enjoyed when Waverly played Piketon. As a Waverly grad, I loved holding it over my cousin who went to Piketon. Same thing here!! It’s a darn shame it isn’t played week 1 anymore, if there were a way to make it week 10 that’d be phenomenal. Regardless ...

Re: Irontons Shaun Terry Committed to Notre Dame
True, but OSU wr recruiting has been ridiculous. They seem to land every 5-star available. No denying it but you’d think Hartline being an Ohio native would at least made more of an effort to get home grown talent. The #1 RB from Moeller he’s going to Michigan of all places. Regardless happy for Te...

Re: Irontons Shaun Terry Committed to Notre Dame
Congrats to him but what in the world is Ohio State doing??? You’ve been to Ironton before and signed a kid from there and you don’t even bother to go after him. I mean seriously what a a joke OSU. And some may say he’s not good enough for their receiver room. Yet he’s good enough for NDs and had U...

Re: 2024 Wheelersburg Pirates
Burg schools deserve applause for their success and they do perform at a high level in all of their academic and athletic programs but this would be better to head back to football conversations. I’ll start 2024: Burg offense on the rise Burg defense work in progress I find this a little uncharacte...

Re: 2024 Wheelersburg Pirates
1. What would be involved in the appeals process? I doubt Wheelersburg miscounted. And they aren’t going to lower the number they report to the state. So I’m not sure how that even works? 2. Given Wheelersburg’s CB number won’t be 0, this seems to put them squarely in D4. If that’s R16, Wheelersbur...

Waverly was last D V in 2013 and 14, but in 2012 was D IV. Since 2015 Waverly has been D IV

Pretty tough for a team to have a Super Bowl when they don’t field a football team

Re: Ironton 8th Grader Luca Silva D1 Offers (2)
If you want to include Huntington High in that list of tri state schools they have produced some D1 guys. But they also would be the equivalent of a DI school here. What Ironton has done has been impressive no matter how you slide it

Re: 2024 Ironton Fighting Tigers
Midland at the Joan again? And not having a home game for a month is killer to begin the season, jackson and Burg not easy places to win Those first six games are brutal! When @Burg and @Jackson to open the season are the easiest games of the six… Either IHS will be well prepared for a playoff run,...
