My boys team 4 th grade is heading to the Youth State Tournament this coming weekend . In our pool is Ironton , Wheelersburg and Cheasapeake, any info on them , are they solid teams , in your opinion who is the better of the three. Ironton was there last season season although we did not play them .

We play our League at the Highlands in Wheeling and there is one Tournament there in Jan and Feb .

Personally I thought Caldwell would lose to Waterford . Although a good team Caldwell is not as good as River , but who knows , that’s why the game is played on the field and not on paper .

Talent wise Steubenville is absolutely loaded with talent , one example a soph kicker that kicks it out of the EZ , not just into it. Unfortunately Steubenville is very undisciplined with countless penalties . The team that plays the more error free should win .

River is not down , just lacking in numbers . Defense on the backend is young , they lost a returning All Stater early in the season . Both River Lines are very big , QB a remarkable athlete, TB is huge too, 230’s .

Barnesville needs to , has to play their best game of the season if they want to win.
