Malone's time in the 3200 @ Athens is a mistake. She ran in the neighborhood of 12:11. Still 1st. I know Baums page says 10:43 but I was @ the meet and saw roughly her time. They seemed to be having trouble with their timer. She's a great runner but not sub 11:00...yet

Oops, sorry for the confusion. That time on Cass for the 800 should go on the Middle School list. Thanks for posting her. Looks like she's ready to compete @ the High School level in this area.

Emily Cass of Athens ran the 800 with a time of 2:31.22 this evening @ the Gallia meet. A new Athens Middle School record! I don't think they are posting the meet on Baums page. WTG Emily!

I'm not trying to be inappropriate or insulting, but, is that really the last name of the long jumper from 1996 and 1997 or did you mean Ficks or something similar. Sorry if I'm out of line. I've just never heard of the last name you have listed for that athlete.

Are the times for the 1600 and 800 based on PR's or one particular meet last year?

I remember Athens Middle school girls going undefeated last year.

Girls 1600 belongs to Lucy Williams, 5:33.98 in 2011 achieved during the TVC Championships in May.
