If Minford is going with a first time head coach who is that young, I hope they surround him with some veteran assistants. There is so much non-coaching crap a HC has to deal with. Would be nice to have some vets help him navigate that part of the job.

River Valley has started a nice little soccer club, at least at the middle school level. I’m guessing they are benefitting from the very nice Gallia County soccer program run at OO McIntyre. If RV doesn’t get its program headed in the right direction, I could see football kids leaving and other kids...

Many people are throwing out this $70k figure and talking about creating a job. I don’t think public schools work this way in 2023. Hillsboro’s 7th has too many kids out or not enough to play. 8th grade is still on.
