Re: Week 2: Portsmouth (1-0) @ Portsmouth West (0-1)
Going with West. Portsmouth usually struggles with the physicality of West and their ground game. I think West defense will force Portsmouth to throw the football. If Portsmouth can have a balance offense then they have a shot but if they are only going to throw the ball 6 times, i don't think they ...

Re: Week 2 Coal Grove at Lucasville Valley
Coach Grove. Valley struggled big time to stop the run against Portsmouth and I think it will continue friday night. Valley is not there physically YET. They will get there but will take their lumps.

Re: WK 2: Burg vs McNichols
Burg has to figure out what type of team they want to be. Spread or Spread with a running attack. I feel as if they didn't have an offensive identity against Ironton.

Re: Notre Dame @ Manchester 8.18.23
RiverBallFan1... but with ND knowing the team they had coming back, why schedule manchester when throughout the years the game hasn't been competitive? I believe ND could of found a more competitive game week 1 then this. ND will win some games this year but depth will be an issue. I look for it to ...

Re: Notre Dame @ Manchester 8.18.23
I have no idea why ND schedule this game. Manchester has not been very good these last couple years. I agree it’s hard to tell your team to stop playing hard due to injuries but ref and coaches should have got together and did a running clock earlier. I wasn’t at the game but what kind of running pl...

Re: Week 1: Valley @ Portsmouth
Easier said than done but why didn’t Valley stack the box and make Portsmouth throw? Valley is very young and I knew Portsmouth would use their strength but I also thought a defensive adjustment would have been made. Valley did not give up and I really like the offensive possession where they ran th...

Re: Scrimmage Results
ND secondary has to get better. Their secondary gave up some passes downfield. I did see Metzler and Phillips not dressed, Injury or just siting them? The running back for ND looked tough and looks hard to bring down. Where is Metzler playing at on offense this year? I thought Valley controlled the ...

Re: Week 1: Valley @ Portsmouth
This game will be a toss up. I think Portsmouth comes out with the victory due to depth. Valley is not very deep, I do think Valley has some athletes and a like transplant said their skilled guys can make plays. Just based off experience I have to go with the Trojans but don't be surprised if Valley...

Spartan Stadium
Heard some news on the radio that Spartan Stadium is a dire need of repairs. I know they are doing the electric, restrooms, and locker rooms. The way it was sounded is that those are just small repairs, compared to what actually needs to be done. Will this be done in enough time for the Titans to pl...

Re: Portsmouth Notre Dame - From there to here.
Well... from what i heard the men with the money is the reason why Bob Ashley got fired. Let's let people with money run the school and if I don't get my way I'm pulling my money. What a joke! One of the kids who was the main cause of it is no longer there. The association or whatever they call the ...

Re: Jeff Lisath Is The Portsmouth Trojans Coach
Who is Thomas? What are the other rumors? Any of these kids also play football? Connie Thomas. Family has a lot of ties at Portsmouth, I believe his great uncle or cousin Scott Taylor played on the 78' State Championship team with Jeff, his cousin Jason "JT" Taylor played on the 88' state...

Re: Jeff Lisath Is The Portsmouth Trojans Coach
If Coach Lisath is introducing his system, I doubt it would be open to spectators outside the Portsmouth Trojan community. I could be wrong. If it's a camp to work on fundamentals like a normal camp then i don't see an issue.

Re: Jeff Lisath Set to Be Next Portsmouth Trojans Head Coach
That is a good question. I'm sure Coach Lisath has some good connections and will get a good staff around him that will get the program back.

Re: Portsmouth Notre Dame - From there to here.
Well the booster took his ball and went somewhere else because he wasn't getting things his way. With the events that happened I don't see the football program coming back from this and this shows money talks.

Re: Norm Persin hired at SW
I agree with Swanker. Regional titles is SE state title in D4. Also, Area 51 I thought ND did a great job this year with their young guards. Season looked rough to start due to young guards turning ball over and not being "ready". I thought they found what worked and stuck with it. Went on...
