Both these teams will finish their seasons with embarrasing running clock losses ,portsmouth is no where close to ironton talentvwise and ironton is not even in the picture against burg .

The way west coach acted all night reflects on all the unsportsmanlike penalty west had.

Ironton will finally feel like Lutz is back!

I would agree with that. I couldn't agree more. Burg is definitely the best team in this area and prolly one of the best in this half the state if not in the state. Cold H2O or any other team we might face in wk 14 better be ready. IMO this yrs burg is better than last yr And you can tell this afte...

If ironton or Portsmouth win the OVC then it only proves how weak that league really is lol the soc is no different, with the 1 exception being Burg. and they truly have become the new ironton in that they are getting all the best athletes transferring in from their neighboring schools...ironhalfto...

BURG IS SO GREAT WHY NOT SCHEDULE A BIG BOY HERE. BISHOP HARTLEY, OR SOMEONE THAT MIGHT ACTUALLY HELP IN THE PLAYOFFS. Burg is dressing their freshman this year for the first time I can ever remember in the 45 years I have lived here, but some of the frosh are playing too think because they are that good. Even without the frosh dressing they would have close to 60 players. The Pirates will be loaded for a few years...

West has a solid team. Mostly sophomores and juniors. About 25 kids getting snaps on O and D. No great individual players but solid. I don't understand the not in shape comment. That's what won the game last night. West didn't have any cramps and they wore Fairland out the 2nd half. Fairland score ...

Did burg dress their JV team ? Of not ,how in the world do you dress that many varsity players,and still play in such little division?

They have had the same amount of boys in that school for seen a like 50 years .
