Re: Burg releases their 24 schedule: projecting the regular season.

Burgs NIL just took a hit. $100,000 just used for a new softball field for the 2 time defending champs. You win at the burg your rewarded. 6-4, 7-3 doesn’t cut it at the burg. Burgs a state power softball school now. Burg NIL 😂 might be the funniest thing I read in a minute! Ironton must got some d...

Re: Burg releases their 24 schedule: projecting the regular season.

Barring a game-changing transfer, I’ll guess 7-3, losses against Ironton, Jackson, and HP. And I’d never ever pick against them in the playoffs. That’s the mark of a first class program. 4 of the losses i projected = ironton jackson Cincy and Prep are more than likely. The only so called upset i pr...

It looks like whoever wins the job irontons backup qb will be more dynamic than wheelersburgs qb1. Hahaha

Re: Burg releases their 24 schedule: projecting the regular season.

Yea BUT burg has shown us they cant beat ironton prep or jackson consistently, and Cincy MC will probably get em this year and the P west game is at P West I feel good about 5 and 5 cause its consistent with who burg is now. If you feel good about it, then let’s place a bet. Doesn’t have to be mone...

Agreed. Heck of a problem to have.

Wonder who starts in the backfield? Still hearing some whispers about a transfer RB from Huntington and Ironton returns their backfield i do believe. Very interesting indeed.

Re: Burg releases their 24 schedule: projecting the regular season.

Haven't had a 5 loss season since 02, and only 3 since 1971 lol. don't foresee that happening this year Yea BUT burg has shown us they cant beat ironton prep or jackson consistently, and Cincy MC will probably get em this year and the P west game is at P West I feel good about 5 and 5 cause its con...

Re: Burg releases their 24 schedule: projecting the regular season.

I see the Pirates going 7-3. That Harvest Prep game will be interesting. I'm sure Burg will have some Scouts in Ashland on September 6th watching when Harvest Prep Travels to Ashland to take on the Tomcats. Prep has a LOADED schedule. They just picked up D II LaSalle from Cincinnati Yup. Im not sur...

Who will win the QB1 duties for Ironton in 24?

Will it be Shreck or Edwards?

My guess is Edwards and Shreck goes back to WR.

Burg releases their 24 schedule: projecting the regular season.

I have burg unfortunately losing their first 3 games to Ironton, Cincy Mc, & Jackson. From there burg will pick up back to back wins vs NW & Valley. Burg will then drop their I believe 4th or 5th straight to Harvest Prep. Then Burg flexes their muscle for 3 consecutive weeks vs Oak Hill, Wav...

7 on 7 is basically practice for the skills. Just let it happen. You'll be happier just goin w the change lol.

Re: Offseason 7-on-7 Competition Approved By Ohio High School Athletic Association

Lmao and like clockwork Just giving my opinion. We live in the United States and are able to do so. Ironton will benefit from this as should Rock Hill, but the smaller schools not so much, especially when you rely on all of your athletes to thrive as an athletic program. Well that's life my man. It...

Re: Offseason 7-on-7 Competition Approved By Ohio High School Athletic Association

I don’t like it. I’m more worried some coaches will turn this into a “play football, 7 on 7, or else” deal. Most coaches in small schools are great about supporting each others program and accommodating with other coaches, but I can see some taking advantage of this. I also think this can come back...
