Norte Dame is enjoying the Ashley era. Looks like they're on the verge of another playoff appearance.

Ron Hinton is one of the best football coaches in Ohio high school football history. Running down a future Ohio has Hall of Fame coach only helps me to see what the real problem at Chilli has been for years.

"Hard to believe Northwest fell off that much from last year. I'll take Eastern in a close one." Hard to believe? Not really. They just lost 16 of the best seniors we've ever had and start many Freshmen and Sophmores. No team is going to do well under those circumstances.

My son goes to NW and he told me some of these players are laying down on the coach. This is typical out here every time we get a coach that tries to work the kids. Mediocrity is an acceptable thing in this community and as long as that is the way it is the results will not change.

Burg's football program has risen to another level. If you all keep doing what your doing there'll eventually be another state championship trophy in the case.

Anyone who knows anything about football can tell that Rock Hill is a well coached team. Rock Hill had been at the bottom for years until Coach Kipp came along. From what I can tell the Northwest coaching staff doesn't seem to be working the kids any harder than coach Crabtree is at Valley. Who can argue with their success thru the years? I know that this is the first time I've seen them use the sled in years

Northwest kids aren't used to working as hard as Coach Montavon works em. He's teaching these kids what it's going to take to get back up to the big division of the SOC and be able to compete at that level.

P.S. Success at the pee wee level does not count. Everyone knows that the pee wee coach with the best most physically developed players win. The average pee wee coach would be lucky to win a game coaching at the high school level.

Northwest losing has nothing to do with their offence. Clinton Massie runs an offence as basic as Northwest's and they have won back to back state titles.
