Re: SOC 2 LEAGUE PROJECTIONS

1 Valley 2 West 3 Minford 4 SW 5 Oak Hill 6 Wheelersburg 7 Northwest 8 Waverly 9 Eastern I think Minford and Valley will struggle rebounding the ball and playing interior defense without Zimmerman and Stuart. The big kid Stewart that came off the bench for Valley will need to be a factor. He’s had ...

Re: Fan Behavior At Games…Action Needs Taken

No badge or key is needed to access the area where the officials enter and exit at Burg... literally 3-4 different ways to get there... fans should not be following officials around after games to complain... I've had many conversations with officials after games as I am friends with many of them......

Re: Pfloyd's Elite 8 of Southern/SouthEast Ohio - Week #8

When do u give sw the jump up i felt like they should of went up after that win vs valley. ... the loss to The Burg took some of the jump off of the W over Valley BUT they have Minford Friday night on the road to add shine to the +4 win over Valley ... when you get into the top 15 - it's NOT just a...

Re: Wheelersburg 2023

I didn't forget Lattimore just left out all the skill positions "ball in hands". You specifically pointed to "overall lens" Oline, Dline and sp teams so i showed you actual production values lost. It's ok you don't need to justify the 90% comment... it was an ignorant statement j...

Re: Wheelersburg 2023

About 90% of burgs overall production were juniors last year. So they should come in with plenty of experience but offensive skill will be a mystery as of now. The seniors and juniors have a few skilled players that will do well. As their turn will be up. Thin at QB. Looks like the sophomore will b...

Re: Ironton vs Valley View

WOW I dared to disagree with RBH23 about his assessment of VV D vs Burg D and a crap storm erupts. I don't even know who RBH23 is a fan of lol. I am sooo sorry I talked some football. RBH23 whoever he is a fan of thinks it will be a close game based on his assessment. I think Ironton wins by 2-3 tou...

Re: Ironton vs Valley View

Thought the same. VV is a better version of Burg; offense can pass and run, and they have a better D. But very similar styles. IF VV really has a better D than Burg then Ironton is in trouble. Burg held Ironton to 12 points it was a dog fight. I don't think VV has a D near as good as Burg but a bet...

Re: SOC 2 LEAGUE PROJECTIONS

Haven't seen much about how scrimmages have been going. Any updates on the SOC teams so far? I haven't been able to see either of Burg's games so far. Heard they won vs ISJ and lost to Fairland and won pretty handily against ND last night. don't have any specifics though. How is everyone else lookin...

Re: Ironton vs Valley View

Valley View’s QB looks nice, but the team overall doesn’t look like world beaters. Certainly a game Ironton can win. Honestly they Remind me of this years Burg. QB seems to be more of a passer, so they can spread out and run or throw. Looks like they have decent special teams. Will be well coached....

Re: Round 2 Columbus Academy @ Portsmouth West

West by 2-3 scores. Pound Sissel and burn them over the top a few times. Good luck West We got to stop saying pound sissel. Just doesn't sound right. But yes this is the recipe. West's underrated defense will control the rest. well now the you pointed it out... EEEW I'll never say it again lol

Re: SOC 2 LEAGUE PROJECTIONS

Pretty nice run down. I am surprised you left out Stanley 6' 5" (sr) and Swords 6' 3"(jr) for Burg. Stanley is physically unmatched and probably in the running for football MVP and Swords is raw but very athletic. Both will be issues for every team in the SOC [/quote] Hard for me to antic...

Re: 2022 SOC2 Player of the Year front runners

No doubt Sissel wins this hands down after tonight have to agree on Sissel. As far as burg goes I would say either Stanley or Arthur. They are both 2-way players rarely leave they field. run behind them alot and not sure which has the most tackles but probably lead the team..... neither touch the b...
