Green fans, tell me if this actually happened. I have some friends from Fairview. They are telling me that you kept your starters in until the very end of a 48-18 game. That alone, if true, is classless. Also, I heard that they called a time out with 20 seconds to play...with all starters still in.....

Ironton coaches are great in regard to training, promoting the program, and getting exposure for kids (resulting in many scholarships). It'll be the same as last year in this regard. Ironton will have the clear advantage on the field. Wheelersburg has the clear advantage in coaching. Which one will win out ? Ironton should win by 3-4 scores. But, I think they'll win a tight game.

Does anyone know if any of Ironton's injured players will be back for this game ? This is the big question, in my opinion.
If not, then burg has a shot. Full strength vs full strength... Ironton definitely wins.

I 100% agree. He needs to hire an accomplished OC. The playcalling is terrible.

Watched it from beginning to end... In my opinion, there was no reason for this game to have have been close. Ironton should have run it down their throat's the entire game. He is outcoaching himself...throwing play-action when they are gaining 5-8myards on running plays. I know people will disagree...

Ironton by 2-3 scores. wheelersburg 2017 was a very good team. But, if they had to play Kirtland or a MAC school, they wouldn't have won the title. They were VERY lucky regarding the teams they DIDN'T have to play. Way to much talent on that (and many other) Ironton teams.
