Re: SOC 1
The ones above I think a couple teams are listed in the wrong spots. I know Green and East are and Notre Dame.

Re: High School
It's a good system. I was unsure of what grade it started. I was thinking 9th grade.
I've seen a few kids around here use a friend's address or distant relative. So the process isn't exact but it does help competitive balance.

Re: High School
Your not seeing the argument here. Your misunderstanding, they are talking about why people choose Burg over other programs. Multiple girls you named live outside Burg district but did attend Burg K-12. The question is why Burg and not their current district. Short answer, their parents knew Burg ha...

Re: High School
I'm not knocking Burg. Congratulations to them on having a program that draws people in like they do. I think a lot of programs could learn from Burgs model to success. The sad thing is people would rather jump on their coat tails and ride their success rather than getting involved with their own pr...

Re: High School
Clay obvious heavy favorite in Soc1 and the rest of league could beat each other any given day. Eastern Pike lost big bat with Fremont transferring to Piketon however they have a couple talented freshman that could contribute to a solid returning team. Ndame will be solid as usual as will SV who wi...

Re: jr high softball
More of a toss up than prior years. Oak Hill,Green,Burg,Notre Dame and Webster all moved up KEY pieces to their varsity programs.
Giving the edge to Burg though. I think they have a talented 7th grade coming in.

Re: Eastern Pike @ Green 12/12
Green had been playing well this year. Wasn't sure if it was an off night for the Bobcats but Eastern dominated them with size and shooting.

Re: New Boston Glenwood Lady Tigers
Got to watch them take on Green. I was expecting another 97-7ish game. At times I wasn't sure if I was at New Boston or Sciotoville football with all the transfers. Coach did a good job of subbing once it was secure. What she has though is a team full of scorers. So when she subs there's usually alw...

Re: New Boston Glenwood Lady Tigers
I agree with this 100% There's always ways to work on execution and hustle without putting 97 on an opponent. I always enjoy it when a school and coach forgets their playing with a "once a every ten years or so team" and pulls stuff like this. It's all fun and games until a couple seasons ...

Re: I HAVE A SERIOUS QUESTION FOR WHEELERSBURG POSTERS.
I am not a Burg person but I have worked closely with a couple Burg programs and know many people who are involved with them. My take is it's kinda a prefect Storm for Burg. They have an expectation of winning there. If your kid goes to Burg for say.... Baseball. There is an expectation to be good a...

Re: High School
Burg will still be the team to beat in their conference. They didn't pull up many Freshman buy a couple of them are talented. Plenty of talent in the other classes though. Minford will be good but lost more than they gained. Same thing can be said about West, Valley, North West. But all of these pro...

Re: 2017 Green Bobcats
What's that Green team got, maybe 20 players? So who cares if they played a "club ball" team. They showed up, had equipment and were organized. What does it matter if the school pays their bills our not. Green and Notre Dame are the two smallest programs in the area running programs and un...
