Washington has been eliminated from the CWS.

Oregon State will take on the loser of North Carolina vs. Mississippi State in another elimination game on Wednesday.

For his first game of the season coming off the DL and rehab, Disco didn't look too bad. Gave up two runs in each of the first two innings, then didn't give up any more over his final 3 innings pitched. He struck out 5 and only walked 1.

Since all the Big Ten teams were out in the regional, I'd have to root for Washington. I think they have a really good chance of winning the whole thing. They just won their first game. Always gotta root for the local kid.

Looking at the heat sheets, he ranked 16 out of 16 in both events based on regional results. But, it only takes one throw at the state meet. Still an incredible freshman year.
