Re: Fort Frye Cadets
I just dont like the idea that people are bashing him when he said nothing negative. He only supported the team. Yet fellow supporters are quick to throw him under the bus. BASKET12 said every thing said was false... so is this what he/she thinks: Well it is finally the Sr yr for 3 non talented play...

Re: Fort Frye Cadets
Yes, but what the paper puts as a height comes from an official roster. Just saying you shouldnt call spy a liar for matching the official roster, and matching the paper. Also this is a forum... if you come here for whole truths then you need more education pertaining to credible sources.

Re: Fort Frye Cadets
According to the tip off Combs is 5'11", he was right about Buchanons height. Also if paper is correct she is a 1000 point scorer. averaging 15.6 ppg and has played atleast 65 games, that comes out to 1,014 pts (unless she has been injured or you don't count tourny games)... the 3 point percent...

Re: Pioneer Valley Conference-Early thoughts and predictions
Young teams tend to struggle with the physicality and quickness of varsity basketball. That being said at least they have skill now

Re: Pioneer Valley Conference-Early thoughts and predictions
I can tell you without ever watching them play..... that they are athletic. have a better coach than last yr. and have way less expectations than last year. all that equals a better than expected record in the coming season. not gonna be in the top of the league, but could challenge teams in the bot...

Yeah Spy, should have titled the thread, 'Fort Frye(7-2)PVC Champs or Co-Champs or Three-way-champs we will find out after next week @ Rosecrans (7-2)'
That way the two Butt hurt River and MC fans that talked about how bad FF was all year will be happy.

Re: Pioneer Valley Conference-Early thoughts and predictions
BT has the same core they had last year when many people picked them to finish 1st. they played below their potential. so to pick them above river or FF is not a big stretch. Though my predictions are: with my head: 1. River 2. FF 3. BT 4. Shenandoah 5. Caldwell 6. MC 7. Frontier With My Gut: 1. FF-...

Re: Pioneer Valley Conf Player of the Year...
There is not. Just an all PVC team. But if spys' stats are correct, here are some averages. C. Lang: 7.6 Yards Per Carry (YPC); 9.5 Yards Per pass Attempt (YPA); 8.6 Yards Per Touch (YPT); 7.2 Touchdowns to Touch Ratio (TDR) Lafferie: 6.2 YPC; 5.7 YPA; 6.0 YPT; 12.2 TDR Alsbach: 6.9 YPC; 17.8 TDR S....

Re: Pioneer Valley Conf Player of the Year...
My pick would be Asturi from River. The kid's done everything asked of him on the field. His slow-as-molasses offensive line doesn't give him much space, but he runs hard. Not sure of his total all-purpose yards, but if he's worthy of all-District, he's surely all-PVC player of-year. c'mon, Lang? 2...

Re: PVC: Fort Frye 5-2(3-1) @ Caldwell 1-6 (0-4) Week 8
When was the last time a PVC team won a playoff game? I like seeing that because FF may be the best team, the league is the worst in the state.

Re: PVC: Fort Frye 5-2(3-1) @ Caldwell 1-6 (0-4) Week 8
Caldwell just lost to a team at home that FF was beating 40-0 in 4th qt when they brought in JV. Caldwell also lost by 3 to a team that was beating FF by 31 in the 3rd quarter when they brought the jv in. That has about as much bearing on the game as what you said. That being said, if FF tackles we...

I dont think it is him, but if it is, he has affirmed the comments that trail doesnt have much coaching. He will have also put a big target on his back.

Re: River 38 Fort Frye 13
River had the better qb, statistically. but to say he played better than average is a stretch. to complete 50% with zero pass rush around him against a team that either only dropped 3 players into coverage, or played man, is not good by any streatch of the imagination. the yards were great, but prod...

9-11 but threw a costly pick on the hail mary at the end. Good QB would have hit spencer in the seam
