Best Teams Ever
What ONE team in your schools history was the best. Please, pick just one by giving the year of the season the best team played and refrain from the incessant rants about multiple teams and why this one or that one might have been better. Just one team for each school. I'll kick this motha off: Sout...

Re: Your schools best team(s) ever!
Coach James is a class act! A tremendous person and mentor to young people. It's a shame that some on this site want to constantly bash coaches and players, but what else are you to do if you are a jerk. Coach James invested his life to young people as do a lot of coaches. He doesn't want your pat ...

Re: 2022 TVC-HockingThread, scores, standings and schedules... post all year.
South Gallia has a roster so full of talent they are going to be hard to stop in the league. League opener went extremely well. When this team has played a full season together under the new coach and with young talent they are going to be hard to stop come tournament time. They should plow through...

Re: TVC
Here is what I am working on: 1. Getting Marietta, Warren and Fort Frye into the league. That gets us to 17 teams 2. Identifying one more school and adding them as well 3. Going to three divisions. Not sure what that would look like yet but will share what I think might work Division 1 - Ohio Athen...

Re: Your schools best team(s) ever!
meatswinger If you are going to troll me and say stupid stuff at least get the years correct. You are thinking of the 1985 Soutwestern team that also went 8-2. Newerk Catholic probably would have defeated the 85 team fairly easily but SW did not get in. I will say this that both the 1980 and 1985 S...

Re: Logan's Billy Burke resigns, coaching search begins
Here are some of the things I think the program needs in a new head coach: 1) A coach with a vision of what the program will look like in 5-10 years. This doesn't mean I expect this person to be here that long, no one can control that, but long term vision and short term accountability on how to ge...

Re: Week 9: Wellston @ Meigs
I think im going to go with the rockets in this one. I mean their running back is stellar, he has shifty feet and can run through a brick wall. We used to have a coach who could get players to run through a brick wall. Those were the golden days of SG football. what year? Cant remember off top of m...

Re: Wk4 Nelsonville-York (0-3 at River Valley (0-3)
You can call BS if that makes you feel better. Not looking to pick a fight on here. Just stating what I heard. One coach told the 2nds that if they lost the running clock they had extra running on monday. Maybe that is what it takes to inspire today's athlete? Thoughts anyone.....

Re: Wk4 Nelsonville-York (0-3 at River Valley (0-3)
I will give credit where credit is due. Worked the chains for this one tonitre. Them bucky boys is tough. But I have to say I got tired of hearing their coaches cheering on the boys to get to a running clock. They kept talking about how that's one of their goals. I thought the goal was simply to win...
