Re: WK 8: Meigs (2-4) @ Logan (1-5)

Logan has a chance to have a two win season in this one. But because of Paladin we are all rooting against them.

Re: WK 8: Caldwell (4-3) @ Fort Frye (6-1)

This score will show the reason Caldwell is not renewing the contract. I think a few others who played FF this year will follow suite.

I say get them all together, suite them up, and play it on the field so there'll be no denying who's better.

Re: Nelsonville-York @ Trimble

I think people are just wishful thinking that NY will be down this year. I agree they like to be thought of as underdogs. My contacts tell me they'll be just fine this year and look for a good game this week. If they can come out of the first two with at least one win they will be hard to handle th...

Re: Nelsonville-York @ Trimble

You may be right b/c I remember last year when NC beat you in Glouster some Trimble fans were on here saying if it weren't for the refs and NC getting lucky with turnovers you would have beaten them. And of course we all remember the NY faithful telling us how the refs cheated them in Fairland. :o ...

Re: New player interview:Blake Guffey, WR/MLB Trimble High School

It's good to see someone from ttoth actually admit that the game against NY is their super bowl to them. Might want to tell him it's Nelsonville-YORK though. Good interview. Anyone who is a real buckeye recognizes that others miss the YORK part of our name due to their poor breeding and ancestry :l...

Re: Vinton County looses their Godfather

Sounds like a great guy. Never knew of him, but he surely does get a lot of respect. I always thought Jack O'Rourk (sp) was the GF of VC football. Bolander was similar to what Coach Boston Sr. is/was to NY football, minus the state championship of course. Sorry for your loss. We know how that feels.

The board has their man. All that needs done is dotting I’s and crossing T’s.
Was the new coach hired last night at the BOE meeting?
I was told he will not be hired until the May board meeting. This has taken way to long. Coach Bethel resigned in January.

I've heard applications are streaming in. Still haven't heard much of a concrete timeline for interviews, etc.
Who are the frontrunners? Surely some names of applicants have slipped through the cracks. DO TELL!

Re: Coal Grove vs. Nelsonville-York @ Jackson

Talking to some Shenandoah football players and they felt they were the better team week 11. Fort Frye totally destroyed Shenandoah running for over 300 yards. Just going by that I’ll take NY by 2 Tds. I like your thinking, but think it will be more than 2 Td's. I think a running clock is not out o...

Re: WK9 Vinton County at Nelsonville-York

Too bad there isn't a running clock in basketball. What is this basketball you speak of? There is football season, then there is wrestling season, then there is track season, then it is summer. Then you repeat. :) Basketball, is a highly skilled athletic accuracy game played at an extremely fast pa...

We all just hope daddy ball continues. That way you'll keep beating most of the teams in the Hocking, but losing to NY and one or two other teams that have close to the same talent.

NY will run wild with the triple threat. I fully expect a running clock. There is no comparison in the coaching, nor the talent level.

Yeah yeah, I read it. But. Is there is a lot of difference in that and using "splinter butt" to refer to a D1 athlete, perhaps one of the better ones to play in the area as of late, on a full ride scholarship to tOSU? Enough of the name calling I can watch Hannity and Maddow every night a...
