The problem for Eastern was not the officials it was lack of good defense, constant reaching and not moving to get into good defensive position. Hmmm... Also read in another thread that maybe those lowly teams that were on the schedule should maybe work a little harder in the off season. What do you want him to do? Take off the press? He did that! Play younger kids? He did that! These girls and coaches work their butts off 12 months a year to be good. Are the other programs putting in this much time? How about the other teams work harder instead of expecting a good team to play down...

I am not sure of those numbers ssbball, I agree it was alot. Emily Brown will be a stud and could be the next D1 hoops player from Waterford. Eastern lost their best two players, right? Waterford beat Trimble by a ton both games last year. I am still not convinced they will lose.

Better question might be: Will they lose a league game this year?
I'll take the Wildcats until someone knocks them off.

Waterford was only up two at the half vs. Paint Valley.

McFerron's total was around 1160 in 65ish games. and Goins total was around 1490.
