hilltop - I didn't meant to imply that YOU said Chilli was kicked out, merely it was said on this thread. I apologize for that. I have no doubt that CHS's days in the OCC were numbered with or without the SEOAL. I find it interesting that people want to say Logan is "running" from the OCC....

Also, just to set the record straight. Grove City filled their vacancy before Athens dropped Logan, even though the OHSAA did not list it that way on the website. The Greyhounds picked up Hilliard Davidson, a previous division opponent, as a non-league game to keep a traditional rival. They were nev...

hilltop - But Chillicothe's enrollment did not drop below D2 until after they left the OCC. I don't think the OCC was in anyway SAD to see the Cavs leave, in fact I think it was a cause for celebration. However, I don't believe the Cavs were "kicked out" of the OCC. I remember reading the ...

ZHS 39-11 at halftime. This says a lot about the "old" SEOAL. Nothing I did not know, but now it is proven true. From what I have heard, this year's Warren team would have been a run away winner in the "old" SEOAL, and they can't hang with Zanesville (and let's face it, Chillico...

Great win Chiefs!

Sounds like this team is really starting to find their identity. Hopefully they keep getting better each week. Looking forward to seeing the purple and white next week.

The SEOAL doesn't need a replacement. IF anything, they need one more team to leave to get back to an even 7 teams.

Just my opinion.

But there aren't any good choices to add, but staying at 9 isn't viable long term either. It will be interesting to watch.

Army - Since you never got back with me about going to the league track meet with me, I decided to go to New Orleans to watch the Buckeyes instead of going to Chillicothe! Good Luck to the Chiefs, the Cavaliers are heavy favorites as they should be. I'll be rooting for the Chiefs as I drive to Louis...

Looks pretty good. I have a TON of information on the history of the SEOAL which I have compiled over the last 5 years. It's still incomplete unfortunately, but getting closer. I have accurate league standings for every season since 1939 (when the league went to a round robin) and have it CLOSE to b...

Go to SEOALfootball.com and you can see the all time standings and champions under the "SEOAL History" Link. I also have a list of the All-Time players and coaches of the year, but not on the website. I hope to add it to SEOALfootball.com ASAP. The site is updated through 2006. I will upda...

I know this is about the Chillicothe schedule.I have live in southern ohio all my life and Chillicothe has always played a very tough Non-League Schedule.I would love to see some of the teams in this SEOAL play the non-league schedule that Chillicothe plays.I'm just a football fan in general but th...

I was covering the game for the Daily News last night, and what a treat it was. The Chiefs and Cardinals played fast and hard all night long, as LG said each team took leads and came back. St. Charles played good half court man to man defense, and they had balanced scoring (4 guys in double figures)...

Mike Angle, Alex Wallace, and Seth Moritz were also "Special Mention" picks for All-Ohio.

Best the purple and white have ever done with the AP All-Ohio, but I think the drop in divisions helped a lot.

Congrats to ALL SEOAL players selected to All-Ohio. It's certainly a great honor.

Based on last year, no doubt I expect our line to be dominant in SEOAL play again in 2008. However, the key is whether or not the Chiefs, not just the line, but the team as a whole, wants to step up to WIN outside the SEOAL? This team was absolutely dominant in SEOAL play, and there is no reason for...
