Clay's games last Saturday with Northmor and Ironton were cancelled.

On Monday Clay won over Piketon.

Clay over Megis and and Eastern Meigs. Play Ironton and Northmor this weekend. Not sure wins or score count much in scrimmages. All three teams last weekend (Clay, Meigs, and Eastern Meigs) batted their entire rosters. Clay batted 14 (had two players out) and the other two teams batted 12 or 13.

Clay looked good in their two games this past Saturday.

Clay returns 9 girls from last years team , 8 of which were starters on last years 28-2 Regional Semi Final team. Returning starters include 1 Sophomore, 6 Juniors and 1 Senior. They also have a few Freshman that moved up from the middle school team that went something like 26-4.

On Tuesday Clay @ Wheelersburg got started then the rain hit. The game will be picked up on Saturday in Wheelersburg. Clay was up 3-0 in the top of the 1st. Not sure if game will restart from that point or if it will be started from the beginning. Does anyone know what HS rules are for rain delayed ...

portsmouth won over ashtabula 6-2. they play in the championship against elyria at 6:00 thursday. two more homeruns hit by pierron and williams. great game girls!!!! keep rooting them on!!!go portsmouth!!!!!!!!
