One girl quit...same girl who also quit softball to focus on basketball, and quit volleyball due to losing playing time. In my opinion, it's her thing to quit. She was a decent player who could score in the post. However, she was slow. Last year she played due to not having any better post players....

Word on the street is that due to injuries and girls quitting , Eastern will now start a Jr. So. And 3 freshmen. Time to work on next season /most likely with a new coach.

My reference to not playing together was meant for the girls that are doing the playing on the floor right now. It will take some time for the upper class to gel with the freshman. Two to years removed from a state championship and easterns coach looks clueless. They return their entire team from last year but are somehow worse . Playing 12 girls including multiple freshmen and a girl who has never played the game? SMH!

Why so many FF for NY(4) I thought they would have a full team this year!

I have a feeling that on top of all the time needed to practice + play b-ball and taking care of their school work that doing 20 hrs of community service wasn't something that they were interested in. Just curious if any teams besides the Athens girls have this as a requirement to play their sport?...

Look for Athens to get this game. Nelsonville-york didn't put in for games this year. Athens has plenty of seating and plenty of parking. I enjoyed my trip to Wheelersburg.
