Re: 2025 SOC II
Izladoom: Valley's CB was 18 last year and they were the biggest D6 school in the state after CB factored in (only missed going D5 by 2 boys). Not a shocker that they may go back up to D5 this season. And with a roster of 50+ players (now mostly upperclassmen) and McNeal back healthy, Valley should ...

Re: The voice of the Jeeps has passed away 😢
Can’t quantify this loss to the South Webster community and schools. Mr. Barnett’s voice and presence has been associated with South Webster basketball for years, and he also played a huge part in the South Webster Athletic Boosters. Hope to see his name honored permanently in the gym with a banner ...

Re: Who will be the next Waverly head coach?
Is Alexander the favorite to take over at QB for Waverly next season? He’s already starting as a freshman in both basketball and baseball, so I’d be surprised to see him leave Waverly, regardless who named basketball coach.*

Re: Who will be the next Waverly head coach?
Not so sure as Waverly’s junior high program is in shambles. Unless they bring in a bunch of transfers, Waverly got a 2-3 year window right now to win, and then it gonna be ugly (basketball and football).*hbk1999 wrote: Fri Mar 28, 2025 9:57 pm This will be a good job in 3 years. That seems surprising to me. Would think this job would generate a lot of interest with some of the talent Ironton has returning and coming up from the lower levels.*

Current starters at Wright State and Liberty.
If they aren’t the best duo ever in SE, I think they have the best trio when you add Beard.

Re: Minford vs. Lutheran East
Phenomenal effort from Minford and they repped the SE district very well! Lutheran East couldn’t land the knockout blow as Minford kept fighting back. Just fell short at the end. Congrats to Coach Shoe and his players. This will be one of the teams we still talk about 20+ years from now (God willing...

Large a day 1 varsity starter for Webster. Different type of player than Roberts/Kayser. A true throwback big. Park him in the post and get 15 and 10 from him every night for the next 4 years.*

Re: South Webster vs Cornerstone Christan at ODU 3/14/25
Props to CC and Kwasniak. Kid lived up to the hype. His 3 at end of 3rd quarter to push lead out to 6pts was huge. Great season for the Jeeps…anything short of a trip to State would have been viewed as a disappointment, and they met expectations. Next season will be a different look without Roberts,...

Swanker: no doubt…Norm and Fenton gonna be in the lab cooking all week like Walter White and Jesse Pinkman! Kwasniak gonna get face-guarded the whole game. This ain’t Norm and Fenton’s first rodeo and they not gonna let one player beat them. Will be a fast pace but look for Roberts to absolutely eat...

Re: Minford vs. Lutheran East
How does a state semi be played at St Clairsville? That's stupid in itself. Nothng centralized or logical about it. OHSAA always drops the ball. Lol…yep. Lutheran East will bring about 50 fans, but Minford has the farther drive? Made too much sense to just play it in Columbus, but it the OHSAA we’r...
