Re: Would the West Coast O work in Highschool???????????
It could be ran in high school but my only problem with it is most of the passing routes are based on the receiver and coverage, so you have to have receivers who can read coverages just as good as quarterbacks, with that you also have to have a quarterback and receivers that will be on the same page.

Re: 4 day school weeks?
Are you going to skip Mondays or Fridays? There are several Federal Holidays which have been changed to a specific Monday rather than a specific date. Schools are already "losing" those days - why not skip all of them? Friday is tradititional athletic night [both football and basketball],...

Re: Woodland Cemetery
My great great grand father is buried in Ironton or Coal Grove. An aunt of mine was at my dads funeral and ask if I would try to find it. I have walked thru a couple looking around with no luck. She thinks its one real close to the Highway just up from the Coal Grove exit. Dowg and I went thru the ...

Summer is here, time for football
How many on here believe seasons are won and lost during the summer with weight training. Now days I think you have to have a good weight room program to compete in Ohio football.

Doesn't matter, Big Brown will win the triple crown, I really don't think we have seen this horse run his hardest yet, I mean yesterday he jogged most of the front stretch at the end.

Re: Stocks decline after retail sales report, oil spikes
I know I will be called alot of bad things, but instead of fighting to make the oil companies give back some of their big profits, why now tell them they can keep the profits if they start drilling for oil right here in America, I mean how many ppl on here would let them drill in their backyards if ...

Re: SHAWN ALEXANDER WILL BE IN CINCI MONDAY
If he wants to win any games he will stay out of Cincy. If he wants to prove he can still play he will go to Cincy, lets look at it this way, he doesn't have to carry the offense, even if Chad is gone we will still have a good passing game, actually Shaun could be a plus in the passing game. Beside...

Re: Most important: offence, defence, sp. teams
Defense is most important, it stops the other team from scoring and puts you in good field position for your offense. Who needs a good offense if they are only 30 yards from scoring every time they get the

Re: Has anything been done at River Valley?
It is kinda sad to say, but River Valley, if you are going to be in the OVC you need to check your priorities, teachers come and go and you can take your time getting them, but you should always have a football coach, if you don't it becomes top priority for you whole district.

Re: World Autism Day 4/2/2008
So, my son gets his MMR shot Wednesday. I'm nervous because I hear of a possible connection between that immunization and autism. The CDC, UK Health service, etc. say there's no connection, but there's much criticism over the shot and i'm a very protective dad, so you may imagine how I feel. the pr...

Re: Football: Buckeyes vs. Volunteers?
It's been agreed upon Home and Home series for the 2017 and 2018 season. Tennesse aparently has no issue with traveling North of the Mason Dixon line to play non conference games. Now which team is big enough to travel first, I believe it will be the Vols, OSU will wait to travel south as long as i...

I would much rather see the OVC look like this (I know it won't happen) Coal Grove Rock Hill South Point Chesepeake Fairland Wheelersburg Franklin Furnance Green now that would be a good conference, and I would also make a rule you only have to play 5 confernece games and those games would be decide...
