Re: question about refs.
The OHSAA is a private, non-profit association, not a public agency. So, I don't think they have any obligation to provide documents. They have stats about everything associated with officiating. With regards to what they would make public? Your guess is as good as mine. In the 14 years I have been...

Yes, and I've heard you will be giving a demo as a featured nut sack lifter.Heavy D wrote:I've heard that Southern is having a Cattle Ball Lifting Meet sometime in January but not sure on the date.

Re: question about refs.
I know that when a referee ejects a coach they have to file a report. My question is this, is that something which is public record. In other words I am trying to figure out how many coaches a certain ref has ejected in his career. Is that something I can find through OHSAA or somewhere else. Thank...

Re: Thrown out of a game?
Back to the original poster . If you were around talking to the authorities after the game you are the man! Most officials are running to the exit as the clock strikes double zeros . Good story and thanks for the post ,need more of this stuff . Thanks again At Racine, depending on how the game went...

Re: Waterford 64 @ Fort Frye 67 Final
Last year in Beverly Fort won at the buzzer and blew out Waterford in Waterford. I feel this group of Srs at Waterford will want it bad @Waterford. Very good win for the Cadets as the Wildcats were blowing everyone out. I've heard that a very special crew will have the game at Waterford. So it coul...

There will be more before he heads back home, or just south of "home," to coach the up and coming talent.Lovebball42 wrote:This was howie's first home loss at trimble

Athens should run away with this one. P-burg does not have the talent Athens has. But anything can happen, especially when coaching is involved.

Re: Off-season at Warren
Hearing things are really heating up for the football program. Heard coach McCarver has them really hitting the weights. They also spend lots of time in the pitching mound and in the batting cage. Guessing Coach Lemley loves having a former major leaguer around. Yea, hiring a professional athlete t...

Re: GA Football Job
Once again blue devil nation needs a coach. I have the following questions: Who does the community want for the job? Can they ante up an enticement for that dude from wheelersburg? What can be done to stop the exodus of talent? I mean how can we be losing kids to freakin south Gallia? Why would any...

Re: Reg 27 #5 Southern (8-2) @ #4 Trimble (8-2)
^^^ The refs didn't cost Southern the game the first time around. Trimble won that game on our field. We had some key players who did not play in that game so we were not at 100%. Those players played in the second game and Trimble had no answer for them. If not for the bad calls the outcome would h...

Re: Reg 27: 5. Southern (8-2) @ 4. Trimble (8-2)
The TVC Hocking will get to see what happens when a coach knows how to prepare for an opponent, when he has all his weapons to use. I'm not saying Southern will win but they will be prepared and will change some things up. I expect to see Trimble come out in the wishbone again, since that worked la...

Re: Reg 27: #1 Waterford vs #4 Trimble.
Well round 2 of the playoffs and round 2 for these teams. Waterford really struggled in round 1 with #8 seed. Think this should be a really good game both teams will have learned and grown since last meeting. Going to take Waterford by a score in a low scoring affair. Rosecrans was a good team they...

Re: Tvc hocking
Waterford than the field but trust me Belpre will surprise. They will be very good 2019 is there season. Belpre class of 2019 is 1-5 against eastern since 7th grade. (7th-Freshmanyear) Eastern and Belpre both roll out the balls today. So they will get a little jump on the three that made the playof...

Re: Reg 27: Bishop Rosecrans (7-3) @Waterford (9-1)
Though this game is at Waterford, the officials will not be from West Virginia, and will be neutral. Therefore, Waterford's season ends this week. Roll out the basketballs.

Re: Meigs 41 Alexander 15
We at Southern are all glad that you folks are glad Chancey is gone and you have Bartrum. Hopefully you keep him for a long time cause I'm sure when/if he leaves y'all will be trying to get Chancey back. And many of us Meigs Marauder people are hoping Southern does well in the Playoffs. The good th...

Re: Waterford 37 Southern 7
And I'm sure it was not confusing to the official that just happened to "let the clock run out." Right, because the fix was in. Because Waterford with all that money to throw around and all that tradition on their side, officials just can't wait to ensure they win. It is one thing to take...

Re: WK9 South Gallia (3-5) @ Southern (6-2)
I am so sick of hearing about this Trimble/Southern deal. This is my opinion based off talking with parents/coaches/fans. 1. Trimble doesn't have a patent on any type of rituals. 2. No Coach has the right to tell kids how to wear their hair, Coach Chancey is not their parents. Do I think it was dum...
