Not really my news to share, but please keep these folks in your thoughts and prayers. Unfortunately, tragedy has struck today. Mlittle may ruffle some of our feathers at times, but he is one of our own and needs our support right now.

Paint Valley played Academy in back to back years in the playoffs, in the early 2000’s. Academy had a back that went to Stanford on one of those teams.

The first base umpire (who had the best view) was the one who called it down, while the 3rd base umpire was the one who called it a catch, which led to the celebration. Ultimately, I believe the right call was made, although like was said above I thought the runner from first should have been place...

The original call was out. The umpire behind the mound clearly signaled out. After discussion between the crew, the call was changed. Runners were put back on 1st and 2nd, and one scored.

Unioto is the wrong team to be playing if you are having trouble scoring. They are very good defensively. Their quickness and length are very impressive.

Adena is a very good team and I assume they should win tomorrow. But, relying on them being 6-0 and thus the better team is a recipe for trouble. The SVC is extremely down this year.

I was wrong on this one. I knew Unioto’s skill kids would be too much for SE, but I thought SE’s play in the trenches would allow them to control T.O.P. and keep it close. Congrats to Unioto on the win. Unioto is 4th the standings now, right?

ZT always seems to play PV close. PV is coming off an emotional win. I think the Bearcats will pull away eventually, but don’t be surprised to see it close for a while.

Hate that the referees were so involved. Sounds like Pv just finally wore down Unioto and then were fortunate to force some turnovers. The Paint Valley running game is very impressive!
