So West has two defending state champions and a state runner-up on their schedule, all three from different states. When's the last time that happened?

West Union beat Portsmouth 5-1 Saturday morning.

Football is weird. Waverly struggles against Valley and easily could’ve lost the game. West probably would’ve blown them out by 40 with a full game last week. Then they lose to Waverly by 16.

What’s up with the head official referring to West as Portsmouth? It’s cool for the official to be mic’d up, but when he’s making the same mistake each time, it’s a little embarrassing.

Portsmouth won against and tied Piketon in their two matchups. I'm not sure of their exact record, but I do know they have at least one of each.

Anyway, I don't know much about Minford but I think the weather will play a big factor into this one. Hopefully it's not as bad as 2015, but that did turn into a really good game.
