Re: WK10 Logan @ Warren

45-7 Logan in this one. Nice way to send these seniors out after a very rough year. After next week let the dust settle and make changes. Program can be described in a 4 letter word.....MESS!!!! Find out why kinds don''t wanna play in this school. If changes are not made and things continue the way ...

Smith stepped away last year from Bexley to spend more time with his family. He won't move back here.

Re: Week 9: Logan (2-6) AT Hamilton Ross (0-8)

If this program is not evaluated and changes made by end of year, we'll see the program take possibly the biggest dive in years. My son who has friends in the program tells me even kids who are getting PT are fed up with the direction of this program and are ready to pursue other sports. My sources ...

Re: Logan is at a crossroad

In the next couple of years Logan will have some really good athletes coming thru the system. The O and D lines will be very physical. There are some young kids who will make an impact that may not have gotten an opportunity this year as much. Kisor started 3 or 4 games but is now injured, the Wycko...

Re: Logan is at a crossroad

There are several underclassman primarily sophmores who had success in the junior high ranks and played as freshman who didnt return to the program this year. My son who is a sophmore and doesn't play sports says there will be more walking away from the program at seasons end. Skill players and some...

Another painful week for the Chiefs. Logans O line couldnt block a one lane intersection.

Re: WK6 (1-4) Logan @ (4-1) Athens

Lets be serious here....the Logan program is in shambles...yes shambles. I continuously here how good the upcoming sophmore class is and that we're just a year or two away. A freshman letterman from last year doesnt play this year, kids are quitting (which I dont condone) and I see the same old same...

Re: W5 Logan @ Chillicothe

49-7 Chilli. And that 7 comes off a JV touchdown. Be hard for the Chiefs to head into Chilli and knock them off. At this point, Burke has to build for next 2yrs. Send a message to your players. Get the under classman who will be contributors of the future into these games and start the process in mo...

Hate to say it but this one is a toss up. Will see which team shows up with the most heart. Burke may have to search his bench to find it after last weeks debacle.

Re: Week 2: Teays Valley (0-1) @ Logan (0-1)

Will be another rough week. TV had an opportunity to beat a very good Chilli team but couldnt pull it off. Chiefs will have their hands full this week just like last week. Leaving your starting QB and RB in the entire Jerome game down 35pts with the possibility of late game injury has me questioning...

Re: Green Basketball

The Portsmouth Times is now printing rumors!!! It was NOT fair to bring Rick Scarberry into Green's problems. Rick IS the Principal and head coach at Northwest! I'm sure Rick had to answer questions about this today at work, which is not fair to him, his players and board members.

Re: So Norm Persin is at the doorstep once again!?

First thing GOOD LUCK to Norm and his players. Officiating has had NOTHING to do with Norm making it or not making it to the State Tournament. Players, coaching and some if not alot of luck play into making it to the state tournament.

Matt Jenkins was fouled not once but twice!!! The intentional foul could have gone either way. Everyone is going to have their own idea on the intentional foul but Matt was fouled!!

The day of champions is a joke, after what happened with Ironton this year. They win the flip to play for 3rd place, but say no to that because they don't want to play on Saturday. They cut a deal with Logan to play Friday, so they play in the 5th/6th place game. The game was scheduled for Saturday,...

Larry Hunter is running HIS program. Most college coaches are going to have rules that must be followed, when they are not, the players will be in the coaches doghouse. Doesn't suprise me that Nick and Cam didn't make it. Not many players from Scioto Co/Southeast district have made it at the college...

What's going on??? Larry Hunter is running his program!! Doesn't suprise me that Nick and Cam have left. Look at all the players in the last 10 to 15 years from Scioto county/Sotheast District that have gone on to play college sports. Not many have lasted 4 years in a program. Sorry but Scioto count...

Yes I have seen Warren. The night I saw them they played Zanesville, so it may not have been fair to judge them. Officiating controls the SVC, please tell me how. Most of the officials here in the district work both SVC games as well as SEOAL games. I think Portsmouth should win but when you have 2 ...

I didn't say ZT would win. Just stating facts about the TRojans. The SEOAL besides Chillicothe and Zanesville is weak this season. Jackson and Athens are really bad. Gallia has their worst team in years. Ironton, Marietta and Warren are not as strong as they have been in recent years.
