Agree. I saw Portsmouth play Ironton in the previews and Portsmouth looks very much improved this year and the QB plays really well. Hope Portsmouth and Burg both have outstanding seasons and put football in this part of the state on the map. There would be nothing better for the region then to see...

Let's see which team puts their money where their mouths are...my money is on the more experienced and talented Mayweather (BURG)!

Saturday - Mayweather vs McGregor (I mean...Wheelersburg at Ironton)

This one will be a tough game for the Titans...I predict Southern comes out on top 35-6

I live in Minford (at least for this week. My home has wheels). I know these Falcons, and I haven't forgotten being taken to the Woodshed by Rock Hill last year. It will be just like last year when Minford was worn out in the 2nd half. I haven't been impressed with the Falcons since the Brisker day...

Fairland looked good against Minford at the game last week, but it appears that both programs are down a little.
I would expect that West will be too much for the Dragons...West 17 - Fairland 7

Portsmouth will be too much for Valley in this matchup...I predict Portsmouth 45 - Valley 21

I expect that this game will live up to the cross town rivalry that it is every year!

I would have to go with Dyer it blows my mind that they are starting Salyers. At the end of the year I wouldn't doubt that Kelly has better stats then anyone in the area. I saw a preseason poll where Wheelersburg and Ironton were both pre-season Top 10 ranked in Division 5. I have seen both teams scrimmage in the past couple weeks. Burg has lost two times in the past 33 months. I don't think they lose this week. GO BURG! Both teams are going to have successful years...
