I believe that in the state of Ohio you do have to have a coaching certificate and cpr and concussion protocol.

The Peake will have 2 alumni games tomorrow with the first with not so recent graduates and the other more recent grads. Starts at noon cost is $5.00.

I look for the Peake to surprise some people. Some of the underclassmen got alot of playing time last year. With one of the better freshman coming in will make a big difference. No transfers that I know about or saw during the summer.

The Peake finish summer scrimmages last night. They play in the Ashland summer but don't have any results. At Marshall shoot out they went 6-0 At Green they were 4-0-1 (tied) At Manchester they went 5-1 losing a close one in the first period. Didn't include the jv as they played well also. Coach use...

The Peake scrimmaged at Green this afternoon. Green called and needed a scrimmage.
Played 7 -10 min. quarters Peake varsity big in 1st, tied the second , won 4th and 5th, jv played and Peake won 3rd and 6th.
Green was missing some players, they have a couple good players.

The Peake won all 6 of their games at Marshall, the competition wasn't great but the last game was the toughest they had. Saw a fewreally good teams there and some really bad ones. Good experience for the boys.

The Peake beat TVC 60-38. TVC has some size and did hit some 3s The Peake was just quicker and better defensively.

They may have changed but still played against some prep schools last year. Played a lot of Christian schools. We will find out tomorrow.

On first day of Marshall camp The Peake varsity had 3 wins but the competition wasn t there as the closes opponent they beat by 30. JV played one game and I felt sorry for other team as it was a blowout win.
Tomorrow will be different as they start with Teays Valley Christian (prep school).

I have made an almost 2 hour drive to Athens, stayed in a motel just to watch regional semis and finals even when my school had been eliminated.
So be happy your still in the lose one and your out.
